And what is quite possibly the cringiest finale of the first batch, at least its only two eps.
That's one way to cut the tension, just a quick snack break in the middle of the boss battle. I know the gimmick is food but this is still poorly placed.
Now, is fusing them together really that incredible of a feat? The character reactions suggest so but the show hasn't indicated anything???
The guy is going for a record here, that's twice now, pity they were straight back up after.
(⸝⸝⸝-﹏-⸝⸝⸝) You just feel sorry for the team, this is so cringey still and just what on earth is Godatz meant to be like that? A cat? A badger?
Regardless, fear the secret power hidden in the kitty statues scattered across town ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎ as they tie him and create barriers... just because?
It has to be said, a father/son team in Precure sounds like a rare sight and just how did they get up there? After all, those two fell from the sky o.O and Godatz island is already floating above the town?
XD This will be the most guys you will ever see in a Precure finale and they are all support still!
If you had no idea what he was suppose to be before, you'll have even less chance now.
Woo! Black Pepper gets to join in on the final fight!
The whole budget went into these 5 minutes! Seriously Rosemary and Cinnamon shouldn't be looking that cool.
And whatever happened to the 5k punch Precious tried once, got interrupted and never tried again?
The big finisher, just to destroy a marble...
The poor writing and headwall butting obliviousness, how do they still look adorable together?
And if all three fairies were with their partners, scattered across town, how did Rosemary manage to get his hands on them all for his little talk? Only to then have the fairies with their partners in the very next scene >.<
Admittedly, it does look worse with out the mask, it is a lot more obvious who it is. Although ironic to thank him for all he's done... the show didn't let him do anything but be a human punching bag 90% of the time.
No battle but your bonus, last minute Precure transformation is to light up the candles of a giant cake.
⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂)⸝ Huzzah, was this really too much to ask for!? I'm disappointed we didn't get to see an initial reaction though.
That means the movie had a spoiler for the end of the series... as did Wonderful's technically. Wonder if its going to be common place to hide finale spoilers in the movies or its just been the odd occasion?
Just Amane standing there awkwardly as everyone says bye to their fairy partners, knowing she gets to go back and say hi the Parfait recipeppi whenever. (ᵕ ´ ∇ ˋ ˶)
Disappointed they were never properly treated as a team of five, even though they really should have been. (Although, I question is Yui is still oblivious at the end or just messing with Takumi by the end?)
This has got to be the cleanest parting of ways so far, heck they even get to stay in regular contact with each other. (pity Takumi isn't included in the last segment to, does Takumi just naturally go silver when in Cookingdom or stay as a brunette?)
Sora jogging pass, lending them her pen, this was a nice little way to introduce her, with out giving too much away.
While EP 45 was alright, a nice mish mash of conclusions, the finale on the whole was dumb and that mostly because their EB is just so bad.
The Delicious Party team really pulled the short straw on this one. (at least they let Black Pepper join, if only briefly, I mean honestly, justice for the Precure boys and their awful treatment by the writers.)
I won't say anymore, I'll save it for in the overall review; don't need to rant more than once. Bottom line, it was bad, it was cringe and for some bizarre reason, Precious stole the spotlight?
Aside that out of no where snazzy animation for the last five minutes, I'll give this finale a 2/10.
