“The man who had God for his treasure has all things in One. many ordinary treasures may be denied him, or if he is allowed to have them, the enjoyment of them will be so tempered that they will never be necessary to his happiness. Or if he must see them go, one after one, he will scarcely feel a sense of loss, for having the Source of all things he has in One all satisfaction, all pleasure, all delight. Whatever he may lose he has actually lost nothing, for he now has it all in One, and he has it purely, legitimately and forever.”

K this is from the perspective of one of my amazing friends, Jessica, about something truely incredible that happened on Monday.
We just got back from a missions trip in Panama and I got a bit sick near the end and she had been dealing with this stupid spirit.
HERE WE GO:
Just a quick one because I'm way too excited not to share this!
Remember in the email about Panama progress where I told you about that gross dark spirit tried to get all in my space? Well the little punk decided it hadn't given up today and started trying to block my communication with God. It was working too, until this afternoon. Katie, one of my really good friends (also in the internship) got a headache. Now, when she first started the internship she used to suffer from really bad headaches and migraines and often had to leave early or take days off, so we hooked her up with a ton of prayer and she hadn't suffered from them for months! So when it came back today, I thought it was just a minor thing, but as I sat beside her, tears started streaming down her cheeks. It really upset me and I immediately called over a couple of interns to come and pray, which is really unlike me; I'm the type to offer pain killers, then pray that they take immediate action! At first I was still a little worried seeing as this thing had kept my prayer lips shut all day, but God has told me on many occasions to open my mouth and speak, so I did it today and WOW! After Ale prayed, I perked up and after a few sentences it wasn't even about the headache, the holy spirit took over and completely ambushed the enemy! Two chains with one stone, Katie's headache and this stupid thing bugging me! Half way through as I thought about and prayed against the enemies attacks I couldn't help but laugh out loud, I had to stop praying because I couldn't stop laughing! Then Katie started laughing too and after, as we talked, she said that she was glad I started laughing because she was almost bursting but didn't want to seem rude! It was awesome just to see how God took a girl from tears and a girl being shut up to two girls being strengthened and healed through laughter and prayer! Totally made my day! When we stopped praying we turned around to see our intern director staring at us with amazement, eye to eye grin across her face! She asked if Katie wanted to go home and Katie looked appalled that the thought even crossed her mind! It was so encouraging and I hope somehow it encourages you to open your mouths and unleash the victory in your situations! DOUBLE EDGED SWORD!!! :)
