In fact everything with Jack and Bridget was so lovely and thrilling to me--I made a sound out loud when he pulled out the chair for her, it was such an exquisite moment that acknowledged their new, shifting positions in the world and in relation to each other. Because of plot™️, Tom finds himself carrying a damaged (roboticized) movie metal sonic in his arms as he runs from certain danger and he don’t realize that metal sonic is then steadily hugging him for safety with his non damaged arm (almost like a son who haven’t hugged his dad in a while)
