10. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?

He ponders the question. Would he kiss the last person he kissed again? He supposes so, since he still can’t let go of his love for her. Even seeing her again was weird, because he thought that he had moved on and then the sight of her brought all those emotions back. “Yes, I would. It would be nice… but I doubt she still wants me like that. I wasn’t exactly the best boyfriend at the time.”

32. Tell us the story of your first kiss?

Myungsoo laughs at his friend. “Hahahaha. That’s a funny story. My first kiss was when i was 7 and I tripped over a a stuffed toy and I fell on top of her. Even from a young age, I was a lady killer because the woman in question was my dad’s coworker and they had taken me with them to question a witness. My first kiss went to a woman 20 years my senior.”

 Jongup had returned back to Seoul finally after disappearing for at least three months. He felt bad, not giving any explanations but it had to do a lot with keeping his family safe. That meant not telling a single soul except for the leader of the group. There was a lot to do, not only interpersonal but at his shop too.

16. What part of your body are you most uncomfortable with?“My… hands I guess,” he looks down at his opened, calloused palms. There’s not enough moisturiser in the world to save them. “They’re pretty ugly.”

( His hands are rather worn due to frequent contact with rough surfaces and the rough nature of his general active hobbies. He has rough, almost sandpaper like palms peppered with callouses due to his parkouring; As well as big knuckles and large veins on his hands due to how he utilises his hands a lot in parkour to grip onto thin edges / carry his body weight. 

The back of his hand, particularly around the length of his fingers and knuckles, seem to be perpetually purple-ish/brownish-red and bruised – even if they’re actually not – for some reason. Doyoung attributes it to street fighting and rough usage of his fists. He’s taken to taping / wrapping his hands these days as a countermeasure. 

He had at one point, attempted to keep long nails for aesthethic purposes; Since he wanted at least one nice thing about his hands. But gave up and cut them short after he basically ripped off half a fingernail when he accidentally caught on a rough surface the wrong way. )

39. Do you regret anything from your past?“It’s no good regretting things. It ties you down. I like to live without regrets. Besides, I’m too young for regrets.”

( In truth, he has a lot of regrets. Like his failed / estranged family relationships. Never having gone to college. Inability to be honest. Pushing away those close to him. A lot of regrets, he can still fix. But the reason why Kim Doyoung has regrets in the first place is because he is stubborn. And Kim Doyoung is also too stubborn to admit he has regrets at all, let alone to try and fix them. )

“I don’t really understand the significance of Christmas lights,” Jaebum says quite matter-of-factly. “I mean they’re pretty, and yes Christmas spirit, but in the end, you spend hours putting them up only to take them down not even a month later.” 

He’s aware he’s saying this when his own parents’ house was probably in the running for the most festive decorations on their street, but it doesn’t change the way he thinks.
