Since Viz released the English version of chapter 19 I wanted to revisit the scene of Rin meeting Sesshomaru’s mother again.
I love how Rin isn’t nervous or intimidated at all. Completely unfazed. She didn’t seem intimidated the first time they met either. Not surprising since since she fearlessly went up to Sesshomaru when she first encountered him.
Honestly, since Inukimi brought her back from the dead, Rin probably thinks they’re old bros now.
Meanwhile, Inukimi is like “you again”
Rin basically approaches her the same way she approached Sesshomaru in the beginning.
Also, I like that we get three generations of the ladies in Sesshomaru’s life in one frame.
Inukimi has a reputation to uphold. It’s bad enough her son fell in love with and banged a human, Rin doesn’t have to go shoving cute hanyo babies in her face about it.
