Another thought after beating Persona 5
I once saw a post by @immanentizingeschatons about how there needs to be a better name for GNON. I’m not sure I 100% understand what GNON is supposed to be, but as best I can tell, it seems to have to do with “the way things are.” GNON is when you’ve got social structures that you know are hurting people, but you keep them anyway, because they’re so entrenched that you can’t imagine any other way of living. GNON is when you turn the realities of today into immutable laws and give up hope that things can ever improve.

Somehow that seems appropriate
There’s this genre of browser games called “idlers” whose premise is basically abstract resource management: you have a city or a nation and your job is to direct its development by setting policy, slotting fractions of the workforce into various industries, &c. Think SimCity in zero spatial dimensions.
And every single one of these games has a help thread full of complaints like: “hey! I specifically planned for a high-skill, high-wage middle class society, and instead I got a teeming slum-planet full of violent starvelings! This game is horribly designed!!”
