So the girl who asked the question comes out to the crown in front of the courtroom, and says "gods not dead!" And the whole crowd erupts too. Apparently either all the aatheists left or... Idk. Then the crowd starts chanting "gods not dead he's surely alive!" Which is a reference so song lyrics by the Newsboys which was the main song of the first movie. Also it's a pretty bad chant, kinda long and doesn't ring very well.

Next the Newsboys (a popular Christian band) sings while we get a series of shots of the main characters looking tense/happy/thoughtful etc Then the jury finds in favor of the Christian teacher. And the entire, and I mean ENTIRE courtroom just erupts with joy. The only person who doesn't is the EAL and his lacky. Then we get a shot of one of the jurors from behind, and we see a cross tattooed on he neck. This is supposed to be surprising bc she's dressed like a punk with dyed hair and piercings. Then the GAL says they won bc she "stood up for what she believed in and held onto her faith" which is kinda the same thing twice but... I should also mention that the GAL in the last day of the courtroom is dressed in a really nice suit and is VERY attractive imo

So the GAL gets up and goes on a rant, basically saying the opposite of what he means in an attempt to show how ridiculous this whole trial is (and it is). The EAL apparently doesn't get that this is a ploy to make the jury see how ridiculous it is bc he declines to make closing remarks, saying "we could ask nothing more [than what the GAL already said]"

So now a bunch of Christians are doing a silent protest where they stand between the mob of hateful at and the courtroom. And it's a real touching moment and everything. The problem is, yet again, this doesn't happen. You are not the persecuted minority. You are the majority. U wield a large proportion of the power. You are not the victim. Stop acting like it.

The Christian teacher is complaining to her dad about how she can't feel the presence of Jesus anymore, and he says "the teacher is always quiet during the test" which really irks me but not sure why

Next the girl who asked the question originally gets called to the stand, and testifies that she asked a historical question, about a historical figure, I'm history class, and her history teacher simply answered it. EAL is smiling evilly the whole time. So EAL gets up and through a rather long line of questioning gets the girl to admit that the Christian teacher has talked with her about religion before, at her (the girls) request bc she her brother had died, but that this has been done off campus, after hours. Then EAL spins it to make her say that if this has not happened, she likely would not have asked about Jesus in class. Then he outs her as a Christian in front of the whole courtroom, including her parents.
