LOOK AT THEM
LOOK AT Â THEm
i bought this !!
i caN BECOME GLIDER
oh i think i forgot to tell y'all
we sold our sugar gliders. they were getting too expensive for us now that I've started school, and we didn't have as much time for them as we used to. I interviewed the person who bought them and they seemed very knowledgeable and had experience with them in the past so I hope they're going to a very good home
Just grab your glider food, stare you dad straight in the eyes, and just eat a small handful and then say "They shouldn't eat anything I shouldn't eat."
oh my god

#animal abuse
One thing that's been very important to me recently, especially with the testimonials of other glider owners in Arizona is unsafe places to purchase sugar gliders from. There's one vendor, among many in this state, that has recently been at the Pima County Fair, and others.Â
This isn't just an Arizona-based problem, however all my links and scenarios are usually about Arizona.
In Arizona there's a man by the name of Steve Larkin of CCW Custom Cage Works or Tropical Attitudes Pets. He goes to places such as county fairs, swap meets, and shopping centers, and sets up his cute little booth and shows off these 'pocket pets'.Â
NEVER buy a sugar glider from any of those places, or from anyone who seems to be selling them as a business, and not as a breeder. These places aim to sell you a sugar glider for around $400, without informing you of their very important needs and safety/care/handling/feeding that concerns them. They want your money. They do not want the safety of the gliders.Â
Most of these gliders are inbred and have health problems associated with that. More often than not, they're fed an insufficient diet of apples. Sugar gliders are omnivores with complex dietary needs. They're often kept in small cages with dozens to a cage. They're sold in small cages, and/or pouches that aren't safe for the gliders.Â
If you are thinking about purchasing glider/s, I suggest contacting your local glider rescue group, and seeing if you can volunteer with them. If so, do that for a few weeks until you're certain you want to continue to make suggies a part of your life.Â
Sugar gliders are expensive pets, and high maintenance. If you cannot keep up with them, then do not purchase/adopt them.
