I wanted to let you know a silly thing that happened on Twitter of Time that is fully not a spoiler. There's a parody account of Rafe (the show runner) that gave fake WoT takes, and one of its tweets was "I deleted Gawyn from the show. He's gone."
I missed the word 'parody' in this message when I first read it and truly it was the best moment of my day. until I realised.

I follow a wheel of time polling twitter (which you shouldn't follow they are not subtle about spoilers) and they asked "what is the title for the twelfth wot ebook? Wrong answers only" and I responded with "why doesn't anyone listen to Egwene?" which I figured you'd appreciate
The only disagreement I have with this is that that is in no way a wrong answer.
In response to Verin asking someone to still her: I think she'd have a hard time convincing herself that wasn't breaking her oaths, which would be necessary in order for her to even attempt to ask someone to do so.
Also a good point! Though now I just want the ‘five times Verin tried to convince someone to still her for science, and one time she succeeded failed and took poison instead’ fic.

Because you mentioned a couple names being weird, the throwaway named characters and throwaway POV characters are the names of actual people. Because of how much trouble Brandon had in TGS doing names (because his naming conventions are different than RJ's), he set up a charity where if you donated, you'd get put on a list to be a character, or you could donate a lot and bid on being a POV character. My name is in the next book because of this. He just takes your name and adjusts it slightly.
I think I did know this! All in all, it’s a nice solution to the problem of having wildly different naming conventions, in the same vein as not trying to imitate writing style in ways that would just come across as forced. So taking the inevitability of that difference and using it to raise money for charity seems like an elegant way to handle it.
