Monster Hunter World Adventures - Master Rank Quad Nostalgia Edition
After a day of agonizing College work; I hanged out with my homies, relaxed, and, of course, played more Monster Hunter. I progressed further into the game and got out of High-Rank. I fought Xeno'jiiva, he was okay but kinda annoying cause his chest is so wide and far away from the ground. It low-key made me crash out a bit cause i kept missing and when I kept getting hit when I am for the arms. Took me a while just to beat him and BRUH.
I struggled in the early stages of Master Rank, I discovered the Hoarfrost Reach and got my ass beat by Beotodus fighting MR Odogaron with my last gear took me god knows when to finish. I also fought the title update monsters like Behemoth and Lunastra but that's a topic for another day. I wanna focus more on the old monsters. In order to get there I have to beat Barioth and HE WAS ANNOYING. He wasn't this bad in Monster Hunter 3rd but devs decided to make him the most jumpiest jackass to fight. I also fought a bit of tempered monsters too and it kinda annoyed me that I can't unlock the Tempered Odogaron Investigation
Once I fought Barioth, the game wants me to investigate the Ancient Forest. I had a feeling we were gonna go fight Nargy first but after I finished the quest and wasted my drugs. I learned that you can fight either Nargacuga OR Glavenus. I never played Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and I've been so curious on how It'll be like to fight him. Greatsword main against Greatsword tail is quite an exciting thought. I chose to fight him first and WOW. I love his fight. The cut-scene plays and shows off his sword arts and yup he's really intimidating. However, I too have a big sword so we're even. It's funny cause in my mind I said, "Ha, I have a big sword too! Whatcha gonna do about that asshole!" I never said it out loud but Glavenus answered my question by bisecting me vertically to cut a chunk of my health. I swear to god, my silver tongue ability is getting stronger. It makes things happen even when I think of the words that might come out of my mouth. I carted once against him but his overall fight as so fun and exciting and watching out for that giant blade to come down tends to make me alert.
Of course, after Glavenus, comes Nargacuga aka Nargy. He's surprisingly solid. I was expecting that he's as predictable as his counterparts in both 3rd and Freedom Unite. I'd like to let everyone know that I started Monster Hunter with Freedom Unite so I'm pretty attached to fighting him. He's makes my Greatsword sharp and critical and I love him. For some reason, they made Barioth jumpy while Nargy should be the most fitting one. I never carted against Nargy due to experience with previous games (Frontier is still much more harder). I finally got the final upgrade for my Greatsword too; I got the Hidden Blade II after fighting him twice in the second arena.
After I fought both of them, Story stuff happened and I get the options to fight either Brachydios or Tigrex. Of course, I enjoy fighting him more. I chose Brachydios aka Brachy. I really love ducking and weaving this guy and he really gets my brain moving whenever I try to fight him. I carted once cause he did get me good at some point. I wanted him to fight like how he did in Frontier cause his moves are much more cooler there. He beat up poor Uragaan so Imma put his face in here as a memorial dedicated to him. The last image is also a moment before I got hit and carted.
Lastly, I fought Tigrex and I didn't like him. He gave me war flashbacks and it didn't help that he hits like a truck as well. He's much more mobile and became less predictable than his older versions. Gave me so much trouble back at Freedom Unite and, oh god, the pain, it's coming back to me. The feeling of horror every time he charges at you always hits me no matter how old I get and how much I get better with Monster Hunter. I'd like to let you know; I am aware that Brute Tigrex is in the game. I had a bad time against him in 3rd so I'm not looking forward against that fight.
