I started writing this in the middle of my playthrough and yeah, Wisteria has a very hard 24 hours after the end of Chapter 1. She’s familiar with grief. She may not want to, but she supposes she can relearn how to do it alone.

I play through Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflections, have to illustrate all species of monsters I hatch and draw portraits of all the permanent team members.

I'm joined by a few of my friends for playful background commentary.

Also the devs: Simon design notes. Is the protagonist' best friend. He is handsome. They get along great! Also, he is handsome. He has a relaxing presence! Handsome. He is well liked by everyone. Very important: handsome.

For those who don't know, in the pokemon community there's a challenge that tasks you to capture every single pokemon obtainable before each gym.

And I've been doing that exact same thing, except obtaining every monster available in a given area before moving on to the next. The only exception to this so far has been namielle in stories 3.

So I watched an interview with the Devs meeting with YouTuber FightinCowboy and it explained some of the less popular choices in mhs3 BUT FightinCowboy confirmed in a pinned comment the interview was recorded prior to the announcement of the release of Rudy Side Stories so there were no questions asked on DLC, Title Updates, Simon, Nergigante, or Post-Game. These were kept strictly hush-hush as that was not the conversation going on at all. My opinion: really corporate nothing-burger answers, not really speaking about plans or anything of the like. But this was in the mix of the 3 month silence post release.

Ratha Removal- Was not provided any updates on whether it would be changed, but as far as reasoning goes, it as to build connection to Ratha as he has access to powering up his Savage Fireball and Crystalization resistance. Now I like Ratha a lot, but even I can see that nonsensical. Yes, you can see why the protagonist feels so strongly about Ratha, but the player’s own connection to him is very subjective. No word on if this is up to change but as a certified Ratha Stan of all Rathas, best to let him be removed from the party, especially as an extra challenge in fighting Aenshin. This is something I feel needs to change and could with enough pressure. Multi/Co-Op- The game was planned to be a solo experience. No word on if that’ll change but this is one is something I don’t feel strongly for or against because I don’t play with other people. I think the choice should still be there or have designated co-op servers just for that but this one is something I see less likely as happening.

Namielle not swimming- Literally because they couldn’t do it because she uses the standard elder dragon build. Definitely will not change, they didn’t PR that. They straight up confirmed it was because of limitations. She’s a diva she swims when she wants to ig.
