I thought I'd just try out the Spline IK but I had to retopo these damn wings.

Another test. It’s stuff like this that helps me find broken controls, because they don’t work right when I need them to. I’m looking at you, left front sixth finger control, as well as that BS the middle back and neck controls pulled.

In a way, crawling around on buildings is this critter’s ‘natural habitat.’ Said building was a free download from TuboSquid, and not modeled by me, ok.

This is as far as I got. I will def do the other ones, I’ll just add them to this post as a reblog. 

Eh the mechanics aren’t the best, and the second version with a hastily swapped in squirrel-ball isn’t so good, but I’m tired of poking at this one. I’m just basically doing 3D doodles at this point, slowly figuring out where I could add new things to make working with the rig easier, and finding holes that need patching. Shout out to the amazing Animbot for the ability to add temporary pivot points and make that roll 300% less painful to animate than it would have been otherwise.
