Chapter 3: Dance

She blinks, and her smile turns warm as she tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear. With a wink, she steers them back to more playful waters. “Well rest assured, I’m still armed and dangerous.”

“Just where on your person could you have a weapon?” He raises a brow and indulges in the opportunity to let his eyes roam her body, forcing himself not to spend too much time on the tight bodice.

“Care to guess?”

He hums, hides a smirk behind the rim of his glass as he raises it to his lips. “Not out loud.”

Kinda last minute but oops guess I lonasin’d this lonaweek as well . It’s ok i’m told the fandom is very dry and thirsty.

As a person, Gladion had many admirable traits. He was strong-willed. Resourceful. Motivated to do good for the sake of those he cared about.

It was what drew Moon to him, at the start. The way he constantly challenged her in battle, with that easy smirk and the numerous strategies he threw at her. The determined look in his eyes, full of fire and energy, that always sent a shiver down her spine. The warmth in his voice when he smiled at her, made her heart skip a beat. When he kissed her, and held her as if she was the most precious thing in the world.

But when it came to work, those traits meant that Gladion was, unfortunately, a workaholic.

It was a problem everyone around him knew well. Gladion loved Aether Paradise, loved the Pokemon in Alola. That meant that, as President of the Aether Foundation, he always worked twice as hard as anyone else when it came to making sure the plans and the work they did was right. Worked so incessantly hard that sometimes it got in the way of everything else.

Lillie bemoaned the fact constantly, Wicke was always throwing her hands up in despair, and even Hau's smile would slip when Gladion rejected one of his bargain malasadas for work. And it fell to Moon, always Moon, usually with a dozen people begging her, to drag the President of the Aether Foundation away from his desk.
