Today marks 1 year since I became a Vtuber. It's been a wild ride so far, and I've learned and grown a lot since then. I'm still learning and growing, and some streams still feel like I'm fucking things up or not being entertaining at all, but I think for the most part I'm just having a lot of fun.
I've made friends, I've been learning to love myself, and I think honestly I've just sort of found a place where I belong.
I'm a very different person than I was a year ago, and I'll probably be a very different person a year from now. And that's a good thing. I'm growing, trying to be better, both for others and for myself. I still have my flaws, my anxiety, my jealousy, but I know I'm doing better. I'm working on them, one day at a time. And I'm grateful to the people in my life who are going through this crazy world with me.
So thank you everyone for the past year. For playing and laughing with me. For being there through good and bad. For watching a nerdy little, anxiety riddled trans robot try to be an entertainer. I'm no comedian, no improv actor, no pro gamer. I'm just a girl with a need to feel loved with a love of video games. And people still come to hang out on stream with me. And isn't that wonderful? To be me, flaws and all, and to have that be accepted?
I don't have anything special planned besides this post, though I am working on some things. When they're ready, they'll be ready. Until next time, I hope everyone has a fantastic day. I'll see you all later. Love you guys.
Special thanks to my oldest friend Bee, @kokichi-ooma, for always being there for me. And to @kdinjenzen and @pink-wisp for helping me break out of my shell so much. This year would have been very different without you 3, and I'm so glad to have you in my life.
