The Juan MacLean - Zukunftsaussichten als Eighties Flashback
Hier hat ganz klar Munich Disco Don Girogio Moroder (Donna Summer “Love To Love You Baby”, Irene Cara “Flashdance”) seine Spuren hinterlassen.

People need to stop comparing Daft Punk to Hardwell, Above and Beyond, Armin etc etc thats like comparing apples and oranges.Â
Daft Punk have been around since 1993, until a couple of years ago, no one knew who the fuck a nigguh named hardwell is or was or who is a hardwell?Â
Above and Beyond came to be in the year 2000, need i say more? they are great but not Daft Punk.Â
Armin has been djing since 1995 and until recent years i really liked him. But as the years go by he becomes cheesier and cheesier. I would take Markus Schulz or Ferry Corsten before Armin, no offense. Armin does put in the work and puts other artist out there very much like Tiesto uses his name to promote his labels artists. Still Armin is no Daft Punk. Armin is great in his own category.Â
"Oh my god Daft Punks new album sucks!"Â
is it because it has no drops? is it because its not branded as EDM? is it because it doesn't sound like their past stuff?Â
If you don't like the album because it doesn't have drops then don't read this post because you are too young. unfollow me.Â
Is it because it doesn't sound like "EDM" lol none of daft punks stuff sound like what has come to be "EDM" Â so stop criticizing the album like you are an expert, Avicii, Nicky Romero, and the boy from Swedish House Mafia will have albums out soon for your very distinguished music taste.Â
it doesn't sound like their past stuff? go buy their old albums or something. If it sounded like their old stuff it would be boring and they wouldn't be adding anything new to the music scene, which would defeat the purpose of the album being different from what we are listening to today.Â
I personally think the album is great. It has a great feel to it, feels fresh. and at the same time it has a nostalgic feel to it. A reminder of a time whene music was made by people with real instruments (Nile Rogers). At the same time they bring legends like Giovanni Giorgio who many of you probably don't even know but have heard before many times. If you've ever seen "Flash Dance", ever heard Donna Summer, David Bowie, Irene Cara or Blondie, the you have probably heard Giorgio. If you ever played Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories congrats, you've heard Giorgio. This guy is one of the original creators of electronic music.Â
