Why Ginny fell in love with Harry? His personality and morality he's funny, humble, determined, selfless, powerful, generous, brave, strong, fearless, independent, smart, passionate and dedicated to his friends and love ones and extraordinary amazing person.
She had an crush on the boy who lived but fell in love with Harry Potter himself.
Many say she's perfect for Harry ( which is true) but people forget how perfect Harry is for Ginny. Do you agree?
Yeah definitely. It seems that a lot of people only focus on why one person is good for the other in a pairing, why not why both of them are good for each other? I barely see that.
reblog if youâre a HP fic writers (even better if you write dramione) i wanna follow moreÂ
Notes from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceÂ
I read the sixth Harry Potter book in Edinburgh, including in the Elephant House cafĂŠ, where J.K. Rowling wrote much of the first two books, and I carried it with me up Arthurâs Seat, where the wind caught at my hair and the sun came out just long enough. I finished it after watching the sun rise from within Stonehenge, just after my train pulled into London from Salisbury.
âhe killed enough people to make an army of them, of courseââit does not get stated enough that Voldemort once had a zombie army
Lunaâs âIt was like having friendsââNeville learned âloadsâ from Harryâit gave them all what they needed, including the Trio
Harryâs love potion smells like treacle tart, broomsticks, and something he smelled at the Burrow (just want to say in support of headcanon bi-Harry that in addition to Ginny, these could all also smell like Bill Weasley)
Harryâs only correspondent is dead and Lupin isnât writing back đ
good friends donât laugh at each other when they know itâs importantâRon at the Malfoy thing, Harry at Ron strutting for Lavender
I sometimes forget that I was on Hermioneâs side with the trying out spells from the potions book thing mainly because Harry was trying out the spells on random people in the hallways and dormitory
thereâs a Hogwarts scholarship program for Tom Riddle? This made me wonder whether the Weasleys turned it down or whether they somehow donât qualify?
Harry is never jealous of HermionexRon, just worried about whether it will hurt their friendship
I really enjoy in this book Ronâs increasing awe and respect for Luna
Iâm really into GinnyxHarry, but once upon a time (first 4th book read-through), I shipped LunaxHarry, and all Iâm saying is even up to this point, I could still see it happeningâalthough I do also appreciate that Harry has so many legit female friendships
I forgot that Felix Felicis literally manages to break up both Lavender and Ron and Ginny and Dean
I love GinnyxHarry so much, from Harry getting hit by bludgers watching her play to him calling her the âlife and soul of the teamâ to her absolute fierceness to their excellent first kiss
Hermione being rightly insulted that Harry doesnât think the Half-Blood Prince could be a girl
Can âaguamentiâ only work into a bowl? Could Harry not have used that spell straight into Dumbledoreâs mouth?
Malfoy as smarter than people give him credit for, failed on purpose, as afraid, as secretly wanting Dumbledoreâs approval, his voice trembling when he hears that someone has died
Dumbledore being awesome: âYou care about me saying âmudbloodâ when Iâm about to kill you.â âYes, I do.â
we donât talk enough about the fact that Fenrir Greyback eats children when heâs not in the form of a wolf
never forget that Snape could have just left but takes a second to turn around and make Harry feel awful and light Hagridâs hut on fire
Harry could have taken the Felix with him but he gave it to Ginny, Luna, Neville, Ron, and Hermione, and it saved all of their lives
love, love, love that the way that all of the professors argue about the school staying open vs. closing is in line with their HousesâSprout says âif a single pupil wants to come, then the school ought to remain open for that pupilââMcGonagall worried about the stain on history and the failureâSlughorn says that parents will want to protect their own
Harryâs greatest weapon is love, but more so, empathyâhe can understand Riddle, and Malfoy, and thatâs valuable both for being a good person but also strategically
Harry: Ginny, whereâre my auror robes?
Ginny: What?
Harry: Where-are-my-auror-robes?
Ginny: I, uh, put them away.
Harry: Where?
Ginny: Why do you need to know?
Harry: I need them!
Ginny: Uh-uh! Donât you think about running off doing no derrin'-do. We've been planning this dinner for two months!
Harry: The public is in danger!
Ginny: My EVENING is in danger!
Harry: You tell me where my robes are, woman! We are talking about the greater good!
Ginny: 'Greater good?' I am your wife! I'm the greatest *good* you are ever gonna get!
Harry: *sigh*

Harry and Ginny: Fighting
I believe that Harry and Ginny fight harder than Hermione and Ron do. Let me explain. Hermione and Ron argue whereas Harry and Ginny fight. Even though Hermione and Ron do it it more, when they fight, albeit occasionally, oh my god. It lasts days. Thereâs a lot of anger and tears, too. And donât get me wrong, Ron and Hermione do fight like this but they bicker more, so it waters it down.
The main reason I think itâd be harder for Ginny and Harry is because they are both stubborn and hot-headed. They also talk without thinking and to hurt. Examples of this were when Harry rowed with Ron in GoF ('Something for you to wear on Tuesday. You might even have a scar now, if you're lucky ... that's what you want, isn't it?) or Seamus in OotP ('If you've got a problem sharing a dormitory with me, go and ask McGonagall if you can be moved ... stop your mummy worrying-- ') or Remus in DH ("I think you're feeling a bit of a daredevil," Harry said, "You fancy stepping into Sirius's shoes--"). Itâs clear he has a past of being cruel when angry.
Ginny also has this habit, not only does it run in the Weasley family, but we see it first hand when sheâs arguing with Ron ("Just because he's never snogged anyone in his life, just because the best kiss he's ever had is from our Auntie Muriel â"). So put two very stubborn, hot-headed, can-be-cruel people together and feelings are gonna get hurt.
They donât bicker on small things like Ron and Hermione do, I think most of their fights are on things like Ginny being mad at Harry for buying something too expensive or Harry being mad at Ginny for putting herself in harms way and not letting him protect her (see: room of requirement, deathly hallows). This is why I believe Harry and Ginny mustâve of had a big fight after Deathly Hallows, not immediately but around summertime. And itâd still be an issue later on. The only time I see them fighting over small things is when one of them is in a mood and row gets stirred up. Oh and theyâre great at blowing things up, sure the argument started on one thing but now theyâre just being mean.
I think their fighting has these common stages.
Stage 1: Unspoken Tension. This is usually from Harryâs side since he isnât good at communicating and would rather brood. If Ginny is the one mad, then this stage is usually skipped.
Stage 2: Spoken Tension. This stage, usually started by Ginny, happens quickly. Since they swiftly move onto the next one.
Stage 3: Arguing. This is when they are arguing but theyâre not out-right rude, theyâre more of just laying their cards on the table here. This stage, is again short; like I said they escalate things pretty quickly.
Stage 4: Rowing. This is when it escalated to shouting and such. Theyâre getting a bit ruder but theyâre not cruel yet, and theyâre still on the main topic. But you can see their anger building.
Stage 5: Fighting. Definitely shouting. This is when they start saying things they regret, often low blows. They may be close to crying or slightly are. They have definitely lost what the issue was, a bit. Oh and theyâre both obviously pissed.
Stage 6: Leaving. Eventually, one of them will say something too harsh or theyâll be called away, so they leave. Depending who initiates this stage, they may go to Ron and Hermioneâs house, The Burrow, the Auror Office or Lunaâs house.
Stage 7: Reconciliation. This happens awhile after stage 6. Theyâve both had time to stew and think clearly without anger getting in the way.
Stage 8: Make Up. See the song Make Up by Ariana Grande. Kidding. But yes this is when they make up, through usually one way but sometimes others.
To be clear, these stages arenât always in this order, include all of them or happen only once. They might miss some or repeat them. Like it most often goes stage 1, 5, 8, 7 or 4, 6, 7, 8 or maybe even 2, 3, 4, 8, 5, 6, 7. (What do you mean you didnât memorise the numbers?!)
Donât get me wrong, I mean this in a no way anti-hinny - all relationships have their issues. What makes their relationship liveable, is that they agree on most things - so fights like this happen occasionally. So Hermione and Ron argue the most, but Harry and Ginny fight the hardest.
