ginny🥹
obsessed with ginny as an adult. you just KNOW she would be pulling women left and right if she wasn't already practically married to chris
Kinda just discovered Chris x Ginny. Feeling a little betrayed that Ginny wasn’t in the movie (at least, I didn’t notice her lol). Does anyone know where I can find clips of her and Chris?
I am perpetually upset about the length of Ginny's screen time in DPS.

Poets + PJO !!
Their godly parents and reason why I think their parent is that god. Please give me your opinions, as well. If you think they'd be the child of another, I'd love to hear it!
Also, I'm not going to list every domain of a god, just the ones that relate to the characters !!
☆ Neil Perry as a son of Dionysus - Dionysus is the God of theater, drama, tragedy, acting, playwright, and rebirth.
Neil Perry dreamed of being an actor. to fill theaters, to have an audience hang onto every word he sang, exclaimed, and cried. Just once to think, "This kid's good. He's really good." Thus, theater and drama, to feel at home on the stage, under the spotlight - to gaze out at the crowd, to look for Todd's face amongst them. Everyone could be looking at Neil, but Neil is looking at Todd. Neil didn't get that, though. The only result Neil got was a tragic end. The one that leaves viewers unsatisfied and empty, like when your favorite book ends in a bad way, where you don't get closure. His love of acting, the tragedy he met, but the passion he led with are all the reasons I believe he'd be the son of Dionysus.
☆ Steven Meeks as a son of Athena - Athena is the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, science, reasoning, competence, ability, skill, and craftmanship. And just to be evil - combat, warfare, and battle.
Steven Meeks was shown to be rather academically inclined and intelligent. Shown to help his friends when needed in their own studies whilst also maintaining his own. I believe Meeks had an actual passion for learning and knowledge beyond Welton's curriculum. He'd strive for answers. The radio he and Pitts built together was an excellent display of craftmanship on both of their parts. Despite all of this, Meeks also had the aspect of war, even if not by his own will. His mind was sharp, and as a child of Athena, his planning and combat skills were just as much. He might he underestimated in a fight, but that doesn't last long.
☆ Gerard Pitts as a child of Hephaestus - Hephaestus is the god of the forge, metalworking, welding, metal, technology, mechanics, and engineering.
Gerard Pitts is intelligent as well, though I think he puts his intelligence to use by creation. A more physical sense than knowing history or where to place people on the battlefield. While not a planner, you can always count on him to provide. The radio is a good example. He is a creator, and engineering is where he thrives. Like Hephaestus, a lot of people don't think of him as anything special. He's underestimated because he doesn't speak up much. He's not as outgoing or chaotic. He's not a starter. He isn't a leader, but he knows he doesn't need to be. He just has to be him. He knows that when the moment comes, he'll be needed, and where he's needed is exactly where he'll be - by the side of those who have made him feel seen and heard, who didn't underestimated or disregard him.
☆ Charlie Dalton as a child of Hermes - Hermes is the god of roads/paths, trickery, mischief, deception, cunning, wit, cleverness, and hospitality.
Charlie Dalton is a very mischievous boy and a nightmare for the Welton staff. All of them except Mr. Keating. Charlie is a trickster through-and-through. The "phone call from god" bit is what really solidifies this role as one of his. This is where the domains such as tricky, deception, and wit come in. Wit is also shown via his sharp tongue and quick remarks. Charlie is also one of the first to take Keating's lessons to heart. "Two roads diverged in the wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." Charlie knows he can take his own path, and that's what he does, at least while he's at Welton. I bring up hospitality because of how quickly Todd was integrated into the group and the bond between the two.
☆Todd Anderson as a son of Apollo - Apollo is the god of poetry, the arts, plague, prophecy, logic, and protection.
Todd Anderson might not be the most outgoing boy, but he is a poet nonetheless. I could just leave it at that - "He's a poet, so the son of the God of poetry." But that's not what we do here. While yes, that is a reason, there is more. Plague. I don't mean in a physical sense, though. When Neil died, he saw how devastated they all were. They were all so happy before Todd arrived, and then devastation struck. Maybe if he had tried harder to convince Neil not to do the play, he'd still be there. No matter how hard the poets try to convince him, maybe he feels like he ruins everything he touches. He brings nothing but despair. He plagued the poets with his own shortcomings, his clouded logic because he saw how Neil smiled when he talked about acting, and he just wanted him happy. Prophecy. "Won't your father kill you if he finds out?" Todd was more correct than he ever could have imaged. The same reason logic is applicable here. Todd knew that it wasn't necessarily a good idea, even trying to tell him it wasn't so. Protection, but not of others, but of himself. Why he didn't read at meetings, why he wasn't outgoing - he wanted to spare himself the pain of being mocked and laughed at.
☆ Knox Overstreet as a son of Aphrodite - Aphrodite is the goddess of love, passion, romance, and desire.
The one thing everybody can say about Knox Overstreet - he is a romantic. That would have been great for his character if he'd been fleshed out and given better circumstances. Nonetheless, he loves intensely. He wrote a poem for Chris, and while it wasn't the best to read it in front of her class, it was an act that showed it. Knox is determined, Knox is passionate, and he goes after what he desires. Knox truly does just want to love, and he wants to be loved. He wants the romance. He wants the passion. He wants love. Who would better fit his parent than the goddess of love herself? (God, they did him dirty. </3)
☆ This is where I'm unsure. For some reason, I'd like to say that Cameron is a son of Nemesis. I don't know if it makes sense, but she's the goddess of retribution. Cameron wasn't necessarily shown to be vengeful, but he seems to be a very honest kid. He seems to stick to his morals very closely, and when they're challenged, he doesn't back down. He didn't back down when Charlie hit him. He didn't need to. Charlie set himself up. He doesn't just take stuff from Charlie. He's just as sharp-tongued, just as witty but not mischievous. He's just trying to walk straight and narrow. Idk if anyone gets the vision, I need glasses, so I'm not sure I'm even getting the vision.
☆ Chris Noel as a daughter of Hebe - Hebe is the goddess of forgiveness, rejuvenation, mercy, and the prime of life. She is also the patron of brides.
When we first meet Chris, she greets Knox kindly and politely. The next thing she knows, he's crazy about her. He's writing her poems and everything. She's got a boyfriend, and she has the right to tell him to back off and be way harsher, but she always handles him with certain decency. She was never too mean to him, just firm. It was merciful compared to the reaction he could've gotten. Even after the party scene, she forgave him. She shows him kindness where she could've torn into him. She could've told him that she never wanted to see him again and that he probably made her feel like a fool in front of her entire class by reading that poem. Instead, she's warning him about Chet, trying to keep him from getting hurt, and whatnot.
☆ Ginny Danbury as either a daughter of Iris or Dionysus. I'm not sure so I'll give reasons for both.
For Dionysus, it's similar reasons to Neil. I feel like Ginny loves theater. She loves acting. She loves the stage and the lights and the costumes. She loves the emotion that comes with it, to put herself in a role and imagine, to understand a character or role to the very core, to see herself in them. She wants to invoke emptions in others. She wants them to love her character and act as much as she does. Ginny Danbury gets to be herself. She gets to be more than just Chet Danbury's sister.
For Iris - She's the goddess of rainbows and thus was associated with what they symbolized - peace, hope, calm, beauty, and ephemerality. (Charginny time, yay!) I think when she met Charlie, she brought these things with her. Of course, to Charlie, she was so beautiful. When he met her, he hoped that there was something between them. She also brought him hope after Neil died that things would be okay again. She would bring him peace, even during hard times. She calms him down. Ginny loves Charlie for who he is, but sometimes, he just needs someone to balance him out. Ephemerality is the idea of fleeting time, of something being short-lived. Who better represents that than our lovely lady who deserved WAY more screen time. Also, I feel like Iris kids would often be glossed over the way she often is. (Ginny Danbury Ilysm <3)
