                                the smallest of inconveniences, is teleporting wrong.                                you believe you will find yourself under the cover  of                                darkness in an alleyway, only to truly reappear inside                                a bustling shopping center, or the restroom of a train                                station (or, occasionally,  aboard the train itself).  on                                this particular  occasion,  though, ariadne attempted                                to aim for the house.                 ( she  didn't  exactly  get it  wrong...  it's                  just that she wasn't aiming for the roof. )                                         there seems to be a way down, but it requires a manoeuvre                                         herculean  in logic  and in  intellect  and while  she has  an                                          abundance of  both of  those, there's no  way she's  going to                                          waste them in the efforts to remove herself from a roof.           ( ... and that's how it came to be that she's hanging            by one foot from a  protruding nail  on one of amy            pond's roof tiles. )                                the effort to remove herself from her position seems                                far too great, especially as the  blood begins to rush                                to her  head  and  amy  comes  trotting  around  the                                corner with what ari can only assume is groceries.                    ' Ignore the girl hanging by her foot, ' the  smallest                     of voices urges, ' she's fine, only resting. ' but  amy                     would come to her anyway, and get to attempting                     to remove the life-sized teenage girl shaped lump                     that currently exists  on the  outside of her  abode,                     rather   akin   to   an   extremely   early   christmas                      decoration.                                                          a hand, however, should find its way to the                                                           ginger's face, awkwardly cup her cheek in a                                                          way that isn't quite so much cupping and is                                                          more, in fact, resting, and the spider's head                                                          shall lean to press chapped lips against the                                                          fly's own.        softly, carefully, as if amelia will break if she were        to become too bashful. of  course, that's  ariadne's        worry,  but  the  scot  would  never be  the one  to         shatter upon  impact. ariadne's  lips part,  and she        pulls away for just  enough time to allow herself to        fall from the roof with a resounding, ' Ow. '                                     she'll straighten herself out, ignore the grazes and                                      possible  broken  bones  merely  to  save face  and                                      she'll   murmur,  ' I told you I was only resting, '  to                                     elicit a smile from the little ginger girl.
