"Hi.” He smiled and kissed her cheek, letting her inside. “They’re in the back.” Gabe nodded in that general direction and shut the door behind her. “Tell Potter I’m sorry in advance if she starts crying about a horse. I feel his pain.” He walked with her to the door leading to the deck. “She stopped talking about the baby, though. I’m sure she’ll be fine eventually. Ava was okay when we brought Abi home. I mean, I’m pretty sure she’s tried to kill her cousin a few times, but that’s her uncle’s fault.” He smirked and walked outside with her. “How are you feeling?” ; @parumvictoriae​

Jane was late - nothing new. She was just hoping the party hadn’t gotten too much for her friend during the time she wasn’t there. “Hi,” Jane said, when she finally found her. “Sorry. Mission gone wrong. It took a second,” she continued, waving it off, dismissively. Jane slid her arm around one of Wanda’s and gave it a gentle squeeze. “You doing okay? ; @chaxsmagic​​

“Hi,” he smiled as he walked into the room, finding his wife awake. Reese leaned down to kiss her. “Happy Birthday.” He stepped back when he heard little feet behind him; Toby holding flowers and Gene holding a tray with breakfast (that was being protected, and partially carried, by magic.) ‘Happy birthday, mama,’ Toby said and dropped the flowers in favor of crawling up on bed with Marcie. Reese rolled his eyes and picked them up, before helping Gene with the tray and subtly shook his head. “Whatever he made, I switched it out,” he said softly, so he wouldn’t hear. “If I left it, it would have been your last birthday.” // @accioavocados​

“If we snuck out, do you think they’d notice?” Cassie questioned, climbing down the bleacher steps to where Rose was sitting. She left the kids in her grandfathers’ box since neither of them seemed to keen on leaving Lucius. She dropped down in the seat beside Rose and pouted, putting her head on her shoulder. She loved the game when she played, but she felt like they’d been here for hours. “This game’s never-ending. I’m about to fly out there and get the damn snitch myself.” ; @byanyothernxme​​

Deep down, Gabe knew Jasper was just doing his job. He was the head auror’s deputy and Gabe was his partner, but still. Jasper’s command paired with the expression on their seven-year-old’s face when they left her at the party pushed away all rationality. Gabe was brought out of his thoughts when he heard his husband walking up the stairs. Abi had been fast asleep since they’d gotten home, but Ava wouldn’t leave Gabe’s side. That’s why he was currently laying in her princess bed with her snuggled as close as she could physically get to him. Jasper had called her to let her know he was okay as soon as he could, but Gabe knew she’d be on edge until she could actually see him. “Princesa,” he said softly, gently coaxing Ava from sleep when he saw Jasper at her bedroom door. “Look. Daddy’s home.” He really didn’t want to deal with Jasper right now, but they both had to be okay for her, even if it was temporarily. 

Cassie had just put Lucien down for the night in his nursery when she came down the stairs to see her boyfriend walking in, Ilsa half-asleep in his arms. She stayed on the bottom step so she’d be more level with him. “Hi, baby,” she said, moving to press her lips to the top of Ilsa’s head. The four-year-old mumbled something sleepily, snuggling into Hugo’s chest.
