Gill (OG) / the one in the back right: He's the first Gill and also my first ever OC. You can see his ref sheet here for more info about him! Cause the other 2 Gills are based off him, ofc!

Crow (the grumpier Gill) / the one in the back left: His story is ever more traumatic than base Gill because he was FULLY corrupted by the void and was forced to be a grim reaper of sorts. I yap about Crow more in this post here (and also Gill some as well)

G (the happiest Gill) / the one I'm dancing with: This is the newest variant of Gill and one I don't think I've talked about much, so I'll yap a bit about him here :3

This is G! Or also called "Doctor G"! He's a human Gill, but he wasn't originally human! His human body is actually that of a the perseverance soul human, who was a childhood friend of his. His name is Oliver, and Oliver sacrificed his body to bring Gill back. Here's the story:

In G's story, Gill is the one that falls into the machine instead of Gaster, having pulled Gaster out of the way just in time before falling in himself. Gaster worked tirelessly to fix the machine and try and rescue Gill from the void, but once he got there, it was too late. Gill was nearly entirely consumed by the void, all that remained was his corrupted soul, which was barely even alive.

Gaster retrieved it and kept it stable in a soul jar. He spent a long time trying to figure out how to save Gill and bring him back, but things were looking hopeless. Until...Oliver showed up.

This is Oliver (normal and ghost version!) Gill's childhood friend and fellow aspiring scientist. When he found out what happened to Gill, he approached Gaster and offered a solution. He asked Gaster to let him absorb Gill's corrupted soul. That way, they would share a body and Gill could come back. Gaster hesitated, but eventually agreed to the idea.

Oliver absorbed Gill's soul and gave him full control over his body, feeling Gill should be the corporeal one so he could continue to do amazing things. Oliver still exists within Gill as a ghost, offering advice and help and enjoying just watching the things Gill does.

Due to this different circumstance, Gaster remained alive and Gill/Oliver got to work under him for the remainder of his life. This is why this Gill is so much happier, because he got to live his best life thanks to Oliver. He got to have Gaster continue to mentor him, and had his best friend at his side the entire time.

G is well over 100 years old now (around 130 or more.) Being a merged human, he stopped aging around his mid-30's. Gaster grew old and passed happy and content, giving his clinic (which by the time he passed was turned into a fully functional massive hospital) to Gill to take over. the Hospital has loads of staff and Gill is one of most highly respected and renowned doctors in the entire world. He's typically cheerful and happy-go-lucky, quite the opposite of the other Gills.

G has the same abilities as base Gill, control over void matter as well as ice abilities (he actually has full on cryomancy, able to control ice and summon it but utilizing his void matter with his cold). He can also knock people out or even kill them the same way Crow and Gill could by inducing hypothermia, which he will sometimes do for patients who request death or are suffering and can't be saved. He can give them a peaceful and painless death, and has done it many times throughout the course of his long life. BUT, unlike the other Gills, G has ✨soul magic✨!

Endure. G's unique soul magic. He can make a soul endure anything, even death, and even repair a soul to a stable condition. Endure can also alleviate pain, and allows him to perform delicate soul-related operations. Something anyone else would likely struggle to do because of how fragile a soul can be. By casting Endure, he can do whatever he needs to in order to mend a soul without fear of it shattering. Endure can also stop a soul from shattering if its casted quick enough, and then heal it back to a more stable condition (not fully heal, but make it stable again.) G can use this magic to stop people from dying and give him time to save them, if possible. Endure also acts as a massive buff to someone's defense, stamina and vitality. Anyone with Endure will feel stronger and feel like they can do more and tank more. They can push the limits of their physical and magical capabilities without damaging themselves, and any pain they might feel will be reduced to a mere pinch or even go away entirely depending on the severity of the pain or injury. It's a powerful soul magic that G incorporates into his medical practice.

All the Gills are experts in pretty much every scientific field (they are all geniuses), but similarly to how Gill is more specialized in engineering and inventing - Crow is more specialized in the medical, surgical and pharmaceutical field - G has his own specialization as well. Souls. He's done thorough soul research and knows the ins and outs of souls. His specialization allows him to help patients on an even deeper level than Gill or Crow ever could. It's why G is such a renown and loved doctor in his universe.

G has lived like 5 times longer than the other Gills, and therefore has had a LOT more time to hone his knowledge and learn all there is to learn. He also had Gaster to continue mentoring him and Oliver for several more years, so G is by far the wisest and more experienced Gill. He's confident in his abilities and it's rare to ever see him sad or angry. He loves helping people, loves making people smile, and is just a ray of sunshine that everyone loves. He is...precious 🥺🥺🥺

Anyway, there's my G yap. G is probably the happiest of all my OCs because I usually always make them broody and reclusive LOL. I adore him.
