Lady hadn’t been the same. She’d avoided her favorite professor’s office for days, knowing that she wanted him, but if she took him... he’d see. He’d see the ugly dark bruises that were just starting to wither. The black had given way to blue, and now her bruises were a lighter purple, though she still sat quite gingerly. She wasn’t ready to answer Professor Lee’s eventual questions about the source of her pain. She wasn’t ready to tell him that she wouldn’t tell him what happened. But finally, her aching heart and her madness for their heat drove her to his office. She still wore tights, dark enough so her bruises were covered, and she peeked her head in somewhat sheepishly. “Professor?” she asked, making sure no one else was in the office. She stepped in, closing the door behind her, and turned towards him again, a near pout extending over her features. “Daddy.” It was like a correction. She glanced down briefly, almost guiltily. “I’m sorry I stopped coming by. It’s been... complicated.” But Lady smiled again suddenly, bright, as though hoping that all was forgiven. “I’ve been keeping up on the pill. I even set an alarm on my phone so I don’t forget.” // @gildcdhearts
