It had been quite a day. A good one, marvelous day, but something that they had been in the planning for so long that it left the couple too tired to move upstairs, settling in to the warmth of a fire and a blanket beside their Christmas tree. So much preparation and planning and worrying had gone int Theseus and Leta Scamanderâs home as they prepared host the couples first Christmas both as husband and wife but their first time hosting in general. Weeks of preparing sleep and food and gift arrangements had consumed the couples being, the two of them settling here a while after having the kitchens cleaned up and company either gone or asleep.
âTheseus darling .â She looked up to him, an apology at her face as she kissed up the aurors jawline in attempts to gently pull him from his slumber, regardless of how soothing and at peace he looked. He needed to get this done. To see this. It had been something she had for a while. âTheseus darling I think you missed a present.â

Leta was hesitating, unsure if she should knock on the door, struggling enough with the contents of the gift itself. It was all she had and yet she knew that she wasnât hers. She didnât have a right to it. He did.
With a small sigh she wrapped an arm around the small parcel to raise a small, shakey hand to rap at the door twice.
âYusuf?â She called gently, backing away and moving the gift so she had some grip of it in both hands, shifting between the balls on her feet and looking to the ground nervously. Leta was about to turn around when she heard movement behind the door looking down as it opened a bit.
âSorry...â She apologized, forcing a small smile. âI... Well Iâm not sure if you celebrate Christmas and Iâm not the best at gift giving and regardless this is hardly a gift and-â Leta chuckled, stopping her nervous rant with a small smile, looking at him with a small smile handing him the package. âMerry Christmas, brother.â

Leta wasnât sure about this. She didnât know Tina all too well for one, and second for wasnât sure if this was still the proper address. All that Leta knew it times were hard, all too hard, and if she could make one or maybe two people happy then it was worth the risk.

Iâm sure that the holidays have been busy, and I know that Iâm a little late for Hanukkah and I hope you forgive me. Nor do I know if this is something you will enjoy... But please consider it. Merlin let this be okay. Leta thought with a shake of her head, before sealing and handing the letter to her owl, watching the owl fly off into the sky before moving to help Theseus with dinner trying to brush away her nerves.
