[ Hey guys!!! Sorry for the long absence BUT HOLY COW! I HAVE MISSED WRITING LETA! And! I have decided after a lot of thinking to move her onto my multi-muse as to have all of my rp blogs everywhere!

Queenie Goldstein was always aware that she was nothing more than a figment of Leta Lestrange’s imagination. She couldn’t affect anything in the physical world, but there were plenty of games she invented with the girl who created her. She also enjoyed “helping” her with everyday tasks.
And, as her imaginary friend, she was aware of Leta’s every emotion and thought, which helped her figure out how to soothe the girl.
After a particularly hard day at school, she was tasked with lifting Leta’s spirits. “Did those boys tease you again?” She was sitting upon the bed within the girl’s bedroom, swinging her legs.

Leta shrugged a little bit, tapping her pencil to the desk. “English and science this year. Next year Maths too with French and Spanish. And he wants me to take some music lessons with violin.” She shrugged, shaking her head. “My future isn’t for a while. And if it makes dad happy shouldn’t I do it?” She tiled her head at her friend.
Looking down at the problems, she counted them up with a small smile. “I have four more, Theseus and I did ten!” The woman beamed. “And it’s only the easy that we have left I think…” The boy would have helped her with more she was certain, but help came at recess so she was certain that that was far more than normal. “I think it will be fast!”
“Of course he would want you to take music lessons with one of the hardest instruments to play,” Queenie muttered, harboring a strong distaste for her best friend’s father. “I think you should convince him to let you choose a different instrument.”
She shook her head, bringing her attention back to the homework she needed to help Leta complete. “Four problems isn’t bad. It will be fast! I’ll make sure of that.” She got her pen into position, ready to assist. “The sooner we get it done, the sooner we can play!”
It wasn’t a COMPLETE lie, what Queenie had said. It was the hardest instrument. “W-Well I wanted to learn it too!!” It just hadn’t been her first choice. That was piano or guitar. “It’s interesting. Fun because it’s so hard.” She went as far as to note. She did love a challenge.
Leta nodded up and down quickly, eager to do ANYTHING but the work, grin growing on her face. “There easy too! I only don’t get... that one!” She smiled a little, point at the third problem as she pouted a little bit. “It’s got multiple.... things...” Functions was the word she was missing. “I don’t know what goes first.”

It was just supposed to be a raid on the castle of Nurmengard where several aurors had learned that Grindelwald was making base (Theseus not being invited as the case was considered too personal). The mission, however, quickly changed, entering in through the cells and finding one Leta Lestrange inside, instead canceling it all to get her out. She had been weak when extracted, barely there, malnourished, dehydrated, sickly, and all in all, hardly alive though St. Mungos sought quick to that. She was recovering but still unconscious.. Until that day, it was.
Coming to the feeling of tight, but not crushing embrace, she blinked a couple times, light hitting her eyes though she smiled slightly, realizing quick who the arms belonged to.
“Theseus….?” Her voice was quiet, strained from not being used but it was there. It was there well enough, small(er) arms trying to hug him back. It hurt to talk, but that didn’t stop her. “I-is this real?”
Theseus knew that they were keeping him away from any missions involving Nurmengard because of the personal reasons. He was too much of a risk to ignore everything and go straight for Grindelwald. Which yes, he wanted to kill the man for what had happened to Leta. When he was informed that she was alive, he had left the paperwork. He went straight to St Mungos to go and find Leta and be with her. He had already left a note for Travers saying that he wasn’t going to be coming in to work until further notice.
He had to wait a while before the Healers had let him in to see Leta, but as soon as he had seen her he had wanted to keep her in his arms. He knew that he couldn’t be too rough, not too tight but tight enough that he could still feel her and make sure that this wasn’t all just a dream. He had been through that before, dreaming that Leta had been alive but, then faded away when he had hugged her.
“I’m here, I’m here.” Theseus spoke softly and kissed the top of her head. He never wanted to see anything bad happen to again. “It’s real. Merlin, I hope that this is real.” He held onto her, and sniffled. “I am never letting you go ever, ever again.”
“T-heseus?” She breathed out,repeating it over and over, trembling ever so slightly in his arms as she began to tear up, a shaking hand reaching upwards to stroke his cheek. Her hand was much colder than it was before, everything about her was and much bonier. Everything was bony about her she realized as she came too, slowly realizing how hungry she was. How much pain she was in.
Repeating his name again, Leta placed her forehead to Theseus’, one hand stroking his cheek while the the other hand wrapped rested to his chest, unable to sit up but trying to inch closer to him. Good Merlin she had never felt so relieved in her life. Terrified that this was all some horrid trick or torment but relieved, too tired to even truly think on that possibility.
For a long moment, she stayed silent, holding him tightly and trying think, his words startling her. “I’m here.” She whispered, hoping it would bring him some sort of solace. “I’m here too... I’m real. A-and I’m sorry.. I’m so sorry..”

Theseus had come home slightly ruffed up, but the grim look on his face was a sign that his recent mission had not gone well. During the start of this war, of people siding with gellert, aurors were being sent to track and stop as many supports and followers of the dark wizard as they could- today he lost half his team, and it was because the auror had failed to keep them safe
The war was harsh - Harsher than she ever could have imagined but she tried to remain positive, strong, more so for Theseus and the other’s sake than her own. They had gone through this already - They shouldn’t have to again and she was going to fight like hell to protect them and get this damn war over with.
Hearing him enter their home, she stopped the paperwork that she was working on to go to his side only faltering for a moment upon seeing his expression, but then she moved at a quicker pace, not wanting to make the day worse, hand reaching to stroke his own, almost asking if she could embrace him, or at least his hand, smiling softly. “Tea on the couch then?” She whispered, voice kept soft. “ Then we can talk?”
Theseus didn’t much look to leta at first or rush to embrace her- the man clearly had been feeling the guilt of what happened, and having to deliver the news to the families, to mothers and fathers who yelled at him for not protecting their children, it did not help. He nodded, holding her hand tightly, keeping a hold of it for a bit before letting it go to at least remove his coat and inner coat
After that he hugs her tightly for a moment, as if to ground himself, a stoic expression in his eyes trying to mask the pain you could see in his face. He was hurting bad, and the guilt was heavy on his shoulders
If Leta had it her way, she’d be doing more, being out there, if only to try and find a way to stop him from coming home like this, to be there to comfort but part of her had a feeling that would make matters worse. She just wanted this to end, his sadness and sorrow, the loss to come to a halt.
After a moment she stood taller on the tips of her toes, shoes having been abandoned long ago as she hugged him back, a small hum on her lips to try and soothe him. “Shhh Theseus..” Part of her wanted to promise that it was alright, that it was going to be alright. But she couldn’t do that. She didn’t know if it would be or was. And she knew for a while it wouldn’t be. “I’m here.” She said instead, “You’re home..” for the moment it was done. He could breathe. Even if it was just for a few hours. Standing on her tiptoes, lips pressed gently to his chin, letting one hand move to rest on his arm. “We’ll lie down yeah? Get comfortable. Y’all or not, all she wanted to do was hold him, try to bring him some comfort.

One hand laid on leta’s waist while his other held her own hand as they swayed in the middle of the room. The man held nothing but love and affection for the shorter woman in front of him, the one who looked like a goddess to him. A soft smile gracing his lips as the auror leans down, resting his forehead against her own
The woman was fairly certain that nothing could shake the smile on her own features, humming the tune a little bit though she paused to nuzzle his face as he leaned down. Nuzzling her nose against his, Leta laughed a bit, moving up to kiss his nose. “I love you.” She whispered with a large smile, not wanting to break the silence too long but almost feeling like she had to say the words as that same adoration was reflected in her eyes. “More than anything.”
The auror chuckled, nuzzling her back and smile a bit more, if possible, at the kiss she gave his nose “I love you too” he says back under his breath, as soft as could be while the music lightly played in the background. It was true, he loved this woman with all his heart- She had been helping him with his demons, and he did his best to help her even protect her from her own father
They had been though a lot and Leta had confessed things to him that she had not to others, including the truth about her father and part of the truth about what happened that night on the boat (though of course she did not intend to, she almost felt like she had to, but that had never been the reason that she loved him, or helped him fight his dragons, no matter how thankful she was. She had simply never met another individual like him and thought that he deserved the world. She’d fight to give it to him.
Eyes tailing a little to their joined hands, she hummed a little again, mindful of her feet as to not trample his own. “I feel like we hardly get moments of calm like this..” She mused after a moment. “It’s nice.”
Being told everything, the truth of what she did hide from him, was scared to tell him made things that theseus wondered more sense. He hadn’t been mad in fact theseus had been understanding on why she kept these things form him, they were not easy things to tell to just anyone. Sure it had hurt him a bit but, she had reason and for that he still loved her no less and was thankful she was honest with him.
Her words were right. With the war going on and the aurors being pushed on more hours, the risk of theseus being pulled into his solider days once more were very real as each day went by “All the more reason to cherish moments like this” he nuzzled her softly
Things since the night at the tombs had been... Rough to say the least, but they had been a wake up call to start being open and to do her part, share her truth. Tell Theseus had been difficult, yes, but it was time and she hoped that if nothing else, the auror would be able to clear the past up.
Leta’s smile grew a bit as he nuzzled her, repeating the gesture in attempts to comfort him. The fear was all too real, him being sent back out. Unless things came to the home-front Leta couldn’t do anything. Even then doing anything would be… Hard. Even though she wanted to fight. “They aren’t going anywhere. Moments like this.” She made a small promise, hushed, but one she meant genuinely. This and the past, however, was not something she wanted to think on. Not anymore.
“We should just leave.” She spoke instead, smiling softly up at him. “Just for a bit. A trip. Maybe a week… Maybe a weekend?” Before things got worse.
Sometimes you just need someone to tell you you’re not as terrible as you think you are.
