Admin Notes: I felt a connection with this fic. It’s written beautifully, with more emotions than any of the other ficlettes I’ve read by ghuns. There was a depth that I could feel rather than see in this, a sense of understanding that spoke to me. It’s so incredibly true how most first loves are not like those fairytales from novels. That concept of a first love almost never exists, and first loves turn out like something closer to this fic; unrequited. It’s more often than not a crush that boils for years, an obsession based of on infatuation, but never anything more because it’s not reciprocated, and that’s the harsher reality than what is portrayed in perfect love stories. There’s a sense of realness to this little story, captured perfectly in the author’s execution, a sense of personal response. It kinda felt like looking into a cut open chest and watching a heart beat in its flesh when i read this. If it’s Tae’s heart, the author’s or my own heart, i can’t answer that.
