six’s ass is regrettably, very real

- i wake up at a comfortable time between 7 and 9 without an alarm clock. i do stuff around the house, water plants, feed pets, straighten things up, and make a nice breakfast. I read up on the goings on of the world and film/game industries, keep in touch or relax with pals for a bit, maybe work on personal projects before heading to work. work takes up a good chunk of my day but it’s satisfying and enjoyable, gives me challenges, and maybe some good stories to tell. when I get back home and it is dark but not late, i have dinner with friends/roommates either out or at home, catch up with everyone, maybe go out to an event in the area or just stay in and chill, and then go to sleep. i am comfortable with my life and those around me and im not afraid for my future. i am moving forward in life.

Peach: Dream job?- I’d really love to be working at a studio doing color/prop/character design for animated films or even video games, but lately the idea of doing mainly freelance work and being a bigger player on smaller projects sounds more and more appealing! Maybe it’s a little abstract and naïve to say the latter but I’m pretty dang confident in my abilities and shorter term projects on intense time schedules are something I kind of delight in but have trouble taking on all by my lonesome.

It’s the most current version! I hadn’t heard of it until I had this problem and it really doesn’t seem like a thing you’d ever have to deal with normally (it’s only use seems to be to switch these boxes to text n vice versa). I think the qtext variable itself simply isn’t loaded correctly into Maya but I feel there should be a way around it or a way to turn it on thru code in the script editor but I’m lost there.
