BBC Ghosts text posts part 2 (series 5 spoilers)

1st of April in the town of Brielle (NL), we celebrate that we got liberated from the Spanish catholics (aka KING PHILIP THE 2nd OF SPAIN) in 1572.

This is my costume, and it really makes me feel like Mary from ghosts. (RENOUNCE SATAN, WITCHES!) or an extra from Horrible Histories lol. Will be saying “Oh! She’s a fancy flapjack!” Non stop on april 1st, mark my words!

Okay so I just noticed that not only did Pat almost tell us The Captain’s name once, during the christmas special, but in the episode ‘I love Lucy’ The Captain is actually about to say his own name before Mike interrupts him. Here is the clip 👇

To be fair, it could very well be one of those disgruntled Captain noises that he likes to make when he’s offended, but to me it really sounds like he was going to say something that sounded like it started with ‘Wi’, ‘He’ or ‘Le’.

So I was thinking about some surnames that would have been prominent around the 1900-1950’s, and here are some I thought of that sound like he could have been saying them before Mike barged in.
