Every now and then I get a small spike of pain in the front center of my eyeball, like someone poked at my retina with a needle. It gets a bit … itchy? And I usually gently massage my eye and it goes away. Sometimes it’s a bit sore after. I imagined this may be small miniature cramps of some kind in the muscles that contract to change the size of the pupil (especially considering the soreness afterwards) but I can’t find any descriptions of eye cramps that match this sensation. I can’t get eye care insurance for another 3.5 years at my current job so this may stay a mystery for a while yet. But is this something to be concerned about at all?

Currently experiencing nausea before hunger and that makes everything unappealing. I know once I have food in front of me I’ll be starving but it makes it soooo hard to cook

Air quality hitting the 200s over here - I don’t wanna go outside or to work or anything … but I gotta…

I need to do something creative today or I will wither away forever

It was really windy last night. Like, really really windy. And this morning too. I thought, huh, it doesn’t get this windy in the summer unless… and then the smoke descended. Air quality is getting worse and worse and the sunlight is a deep amber hours before sundown. It looks overcast but I know there’s no clouds out there. The smell of smoke is clinging to everything. It’s not even that bad here but… I’ve been in wildfire smoke so thick you can’t see the road you’re driving on. It’s giving me memories of packing my whole life into a single bag for quick evacuation… Let’s hope it doesn’t get worse than this.
