The Between (also called the Doors) is often mistaken for the Fae Realm. It is a never ending field and forest full of doors. You could come from anywhere and literally end up anywhen.

A door can be anything. A door in any regular building. The sliding doors to a grocers. An old well cover. A circle of mushrooms. A cardboard box…

Doors can open to any point in time. They can open anywhere on this planet. They can even open to parallel dimensions like the redscale dimension. Think greyscale, but everything is a shade of red.

The Between is guarded by a creature (Lars calls it the Guardian because that’s what its purpose seems to be). Most of the time, it presents itself as an angry mass of shadows, screeching and screaming at any living thing it sees. It is assumed that the Guardian eats what it considers trespassers into its realm, however this has never been seen by a living being.

Currently, the only know safe place is on the other side of a red farmhouse door. That will take you to the home of a couple named Olly and Jenny. They are farmers who are so used to accidentally traveler’s mistaking them for fae that they have begun to play into the idea.

Oh man, get this. I’ve got an official jacket and it says ‘Firemaster’! How sick is that?! Lucky said they had a lot of spares in the back so I might as well have one.

I don’t have a flight suit though, since I’m not trained on any of the gear. If it’s a flight suit situation, I can just show up in armour.
