in my second attempt I modified the pattern a bit trying to smooth the edges of the head. I also replaced the three starting chains with a double single crochet, to fill the gap at the beginning of each round. It worked well. Boo! free pattern on Ravelry by Marsha Glassner

Hi! We just got a really pretty new kitten (shelter said she and her litter mates are half Siamese) who has ghost markings!! She’s about 10 weeks old. Do you know if she’ll keep them as she grows up, or is there no way of knowing? Thank you!!
Kitten tax:
Kittens usually have more pronounced ghost markings than adults, so she'll probably mostly lose them, but maybe, in certain lights, it'll be always visible a little!
What is very interesting on the other hand: her pinkish paw pads. That's very unusual for a black cat!
Do white ghost-tabbies exist?
Depends on your definition of ghost, i guess.
I suspect the quality of the "stripe" hairs are still different in something (no idea what) than the "background" hairs even if both are completely pigmentless. So on certain pictures of white cats, i feel like i can very-very faintly see the prints of the tabby marks on the forehead. But maybe my eyes play tricks on me.
