in my second attempt I modified the pattern a bit trying to smooth the edges of the head. I also replaced the three starting chains with a double single crochet, to fill the gap at the beginning of each round. It worked well. Boo! free pattern on Ravelry by Marsha Glassner

This year, my go-to fidget spinner is the cycle back to crochet. But my ADHD has me always challenging myself to learn new things, so I've changed my medium a bit to begin learning how to work with crochet thread and lace weight cotton. So I've been on a doily making frenzy, starting with christmas gifts for all of my son's teachers and now, I'm crocheting with the potential new house in mind. You can call it a bit of intentional law-of-attraction if you want. I'm just having so much fun working with all of the colors and also with some traditional filet crochet in plain white and shades of ecru. Here's some finished works from this month so far.
