PAGE 37-It’s been a long week, but that week is over and a new long week begins! Yesterday we went to the zoo, totally impromptu, but it seems like everybody else has the same idea. I have seen many, many zoo posts this weekend.
The trip made me wonder things like: if there had been more accessibility to zoos and conservation efforts in my teens, would I have faded more that way with my career aspirations? I’m gonna say probably not, but I dunno. Maybe. There is a bunch of knowledge that I have floating around from my childhood that might have been a good foundation going forward if I could have had a less academic and more practical environment to learn in. Who knows! Oh- you should read Meggie’s daily comics about her time as a zookeeper employee here.
On a comics’ note, I finished drawing page 48 of Screaming Mimi Kids today, which feels really nice. I have tons more to do, but it feels nice to hit the 2-issue milestone.
