I've had an unusual influx in followers the past two days, and for once they aren't (mostly) porn bots!
So hi! If you're new, welcome! I'm Ghast, I post and reblog just... a lot of things, I used to try to have fandom specific blogs but that got annoying, so I remerged everything.
I only really have one specific one now, and that's @jhoest-hills where I reblog fanart of... Joe Hills, specifically the Jhoest, because I helped with that name and it makes me very happy to see people use it.
Other than that, I welcome asks and love when people comment on my art.
You know what's funny? I chose Ghast Queen as a username when I was like... 15? Because Queens are Bug and Cool and Powerful... and then I immediately came up with lore and was like "but what if the ghasts don't want a Queen? What if I'm just doing them more harm than good? Rulers are bad. People should be free." And wrote myself as the exiled Queen who was doing a bad job and her people hated her, so they banished her to the overworld and they attack her more than other players when she comes to the nether.
But I still love them, and call them my children, because even if they don't need a Queen and they hate me, they're my people and they're beautiful.
I still feel guilty killing a ghast, and every time I get the advancement "return to sender" on a survival server usually someone will comment on it and I have to hold back from telling The Lore.
Anyway, little Ghast thought the idea of being a Queen was cool but the reality was harsh and stifling, and "governments are bad"
