A person on my dash started posting gifsets of A League of Their Own last weekend. I kept scrolling past them, not paying much attention. Then I started noticing that none of the gifs or photos had Geena Davis or Madonna. Maybe I had just forgotten prominent side characters. Then there was an in-your-face lesbian gifset. I couldn’t have forgotten that in a movie in the early 90s. Could I? There weren’t dvd extras around then, where did these scenes come from? Then came the gifset with black women. And I distinctly remembered a scene. In the movie. That I had watched sometime in the 90s. Good thing that somebody had chosen to caption the next gifset with A League of Their Own (2022)
