Maybe don’t watch the video, if you’re a bit squeamish ;)
I don’t claim to be an expert on the subject, but that’s roughly how it’s done:The person doing the procedure does a couple of ink injections into a small layer of the white part of the eye. The eye has to be absolutely still or you risk going blind. Within a couple of hours or days the ink spreads across the whole white part of the eye, but not over the iris, which is why you can still see. However, no-one really knows of the longterm effects eyeball tattoos can have on your vision or eyes in general, as it’s still a fairly new thing. Some say they have become more sensitive to light, while others see no change at all. It’s definitely one of the more risky bodymodifications, and there are only few artists who perform them, half of which I personally wouldn’t trust my eyes to.
But as the saying goes: High risk, high reward.
