I've always loved reading books and always wanted my daughter to take over the same from me. I was really happy when she started showing interest when she was about 6 months. I used to hand her cloth books and different touch and feel books. Then slowly we progressed to picture books. And now we love our reading sessions together. Thanks to @getlittnow , we love the wide range of books that are available online. Most importantly I don't have to carry books around when I'm traveling. I loved the fact that there are a lot of Indian author and publisher books. I was glad to participate along with my daughter in their reading challenge. They had great offers going on for their subscriptions. I had no second thoughts and grabbed it immediately. @getlittnow now make my travel time reading for her hassle free. It's a cute story where Aditi seeing her best friend play with her baby sibling, wants one of her own to play with. So she goes to her parents to ask for one. A genuine situation in every family that is happening these days. They then tell her to pet some animals after which she would get a sibling. So one by one she pets a goat, dog and so on. What a good boon it is go have an app that makes screen time useful and also engages parents. @getlittnow is the app that I recently came across and the one I resort to regularly for reading out to baby Cheeni. Talk about the wide collection of Indian publishers - @pratham.books @tulikabooks @hornokpleasepune @duckbillbooks . You name it, and they have it on the app. The books are categorised well, over more than 15. They also have wide variety of options that makes your reading hassle free like the font sizing, zooming features .Most Importantly the preview feature that gives you a heads-up of what the book is about. In order to make the reading experience fun, they are given points or jugnus in getlitt lingo. There is also a book dare , a quiz kind once you are done reading.
