Pressstorm's recent update on FB, Thought you might wanna read this..... #WTF -> "Investigative Journalism is what it is. We infiltrated Anonymous with them openly knowing and participating in investigative projects. We fully intend on doing our job. The book will be published - and quite soon, but not before we do our jobs as investigative journalists. We will report the information we found. After rigorous debate on whether or not we would be furnishing authorities with real information, logs, IP's, locations,...etc - we've decided that it's in the public's best interests to move forward with furnishing the authorities with this information to uphold public safety."
EDIT: "<Anon> it just occured to me that the latest presstorm post is a fear-based response to their infoze getting leaked"

Review: The Energy - Get Split
By Kristen Berry
A hybrid of old-school hardcore and high-voltage punk, The Energy are straight-up rawk right out of Houston, Texas. Having just released their debut LP last year, the band has given us virtually no break to let it all sink in, instead submerging us deep into their world again. It's a good thing, though. Full of roach spray ("Infestation... exterminate!"), paranoia regarding video surveillance ("So much for ever getting away with anything..." in "Thinking Cameras"), and all sorts of amusing oddities, the record offers vocals that almost come off like stream-of-consciousness spoken word, burning Detroit-style guitar solos, and tight punk anthems executed with speed and precision. Starting it off with "Live in Ruin", the anthemic Get Split theme, the band doesn't really let up on the crushing, supersonic energy for the album's duration. They don't even lose steam throughout the nine minutes of "Wastin' Tape", the album's awesomely driving ending track, which sounds like what might happen if the Adolescents met Radio Birdman. It's seemingly shorter and more direct, musically speaking, than their first record, though the guys retain their cartoon violence motif and in-your-face tone. (Hey, they don't call this thing Get Split for nothin'.) In the larger realm of sweat-drenched punk rock, The Energy are anything but run-of-the-mill. Get Split stands next to IceAge's New Brigade as an outstanding effort containing some of the most thrilling, smart, creative punk you're gonna hear this year.
Listen to both of their records on Bandcamp and purchase Get Split from Team Science because it's definitely worth your pretty penny.
