𐙚 It is 2:05 in the morning, I'm very tired, ..good night y'all. :'3
there’s a certain point where when your friend says “i went to bed at 8” you have to ask “am or pm”
I. Am so. impatient. But here’s the colored version of the sneak peak thing since I showed it to y’all already. Anyways yeah I’m trying.
edit: part 1 is here-
The Problem Isn't You; It's Your Sleep
Why is sleep so essential?
The problem when you feel unmotivated or tired mid day is caused by your sleeping habits. Sleeping adequate and good quality sleep is pivotal to achieving a good glow up or keeping consistent with your winter arc. With my new sleeping routine, I feel refreshed, energized, and positive.
Changes in Your Routine
Clearing your schedule after 9 pm - everything after 9 pm is closed off; you are finished and you are reflecting on your day. Use 30 minutes of your time to journal, unwind, call a friend but do not do work. This is the time to shut your brain off and not worry about tomorrow. It may be hard but dump everything into a journal or something. It is time to tire your brain out. Minimizing light - other than minimizing your surroundings and thoughts, the amount of light in your room can really ruin your sleep quality. I tend to darken up the room and put on curtains or objects to stop light from getting in my room until the morning. Regulating how much light you get is essential to your mental health. Our bodies need light during the day and during the night need to rest. In general, I do NOT use the big light during the night because it makes me feel more awake when it is my time to sleep. Lowering the temperature - having a lower temperature than the rest of the house is pivotal for sleep. We tend to sleep better in colder temperatures so purchase that fan or lower that thermometer and get some blankets. You'll thank me later. Keeping Consistent - you need a consistent sleep schedule meaning you have to sleep at this time frame and wake up during this time frame. Do not be too rigid at first and you'll start to see a development. For example I sleep around 9:43-10:30 and wake up around 4:30-5:00. It isn't that rigid with helps with my mind.
Good luck sleeping and feeling energized in the morning because this is your reminder that you deserve better. You can change your life and make it more sweet than bitter. Treat yourself and push yourself at the same time. Life is like that.

i wish i could tell someone things that are actually affective. when they’re struggling or upset, i mean. “it’s okay” “i hope you’re okay” this does NOTHING. even anything more personal, more words, anything. i’m not really sure. i just wish it helped. i don’t want anyone feeling horrible or bad. i hate seeing people i know, friends, or even just strangers in a hard time. i can’t say “i hope you’re okay” or “i hope it’ll be okay” like it does anything, but i want to do something? but i can’t. that’s not how it works. i want everyone to feel okay and happy. i’m tired of doing things that don’t actually do anything. would it be enough to show that i care? is that the best i could give?
it’s not like i have the best ideas on what to say anyway. even so, however you’d phrase it, what really matters is if it’d help at all. i don’t want to show what seems like pity and move on. i want to have them understand how much i care for their health and the problem, and that they can recover and solve the issue in the best way they can. but it’s all just words. it never really does help. is it the actions? is that what it takes? but what you’re available to do has nothing with solving the problem. what then? is a distraction enough, or does that make it all worse?
cheese (its currently 1:08 am at the time of typing this)
