SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE SPOILERS!! NOT RLLY BUT

the Tuesday after was my sisters birthday party and I did manage to move my schedule around so I could stay overnight and stay with my grandparents and my sister. AND ITS A GOOD FUCKING THING I DID AND ILL TELL YOU WHY! Wednesday afternoon my grandfather had left to go exchange my grandma’s primary oxygen tank (she has COPD) so he set her up on her portable backup one. Well, she was drunk (as always) and knocked it over and broke it so she was unable to breathe. I ran to call 911 and my sister ran to get the 3rd emergency tank but we have never had to use it so we could not figure it out. My grandma REFUSED to stop yelling despite both myself and the 911 operator talking to her telling her to conserve her breath before she fucking di3d. 911 operator told me to run out and bang on neighbours doors asking if they had a defibrillator because we were certain she was about to d13 infront of us. Luckily the paramedics got there right as I got to the door to start running. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY FINE NOW! But that shit was scary as hell and the paramedics did scold her for yelling at me while she should have been conserving her breath. She is always drunk and always yelling at me so it’s not a shocker if that would have been her final moments. She also blames me for the fact she almost d13d despite the fact she would have been fine if she didn’t get shitfaced and knock her tank over at 1 in the afternoon on a Wednesday

Early Friday morning lovely bf and I went to Gananoque for his family reunion and we went to a pride event with our niece and had a little too much fun having drinks and wandering the town. She ended up with a concussion and we had to drive her home and take her to the hospital by Sunday morning. (She tripped over her suitcase and fell, I promise there was no viol3nc3, just thought I should specify omg) besides the concussion the rest of the trip is so fun and I do have great memories and photos

Yesterday was my appointment with my therapist and I spent the entire session balling my eyes out ( and I’ve NEVER cried in front of any of my therapists ever in my life so this was super humiliating for me personally) because I watched the series finale of Euphoria and the one characters’ d3ath reopened the insanely dark wound from my brother’s d3ath 4 years ago. I’m still shaken and upset and angry and depressed about it. The first psychiatrist I had after his passing told me it was my fault (it literally wasn’t, I was 6 hours away in college and hadn’t talked to him in years) and that guilt came back and unfortunately is still back eating away at me that 1) it should have been me, not him 2) if I had of tried to reconnect with him maybe it wouldn’t have happened 3) I was doing the same stupid shit he was doing and I’m still here and I don’t know why and I’m angry about it because why am I “special” and he wasn’t!?

I’m 4 years clean because of how he passed. I was doing even stupider shit than he was and in much worse situations and I’m just confused why I’m still here and he isn’t

So I got to chill with him for a little bit while she did her yard-work before letting him go back to his home, awesome little dude!

I mean, I’m not saying you can’t ship it because I still flippin ship it(it’s literally canon to two of my biggest aus-), but like, in terms of canon, especially broadway, they have a LOT to work out.

So this is. Unlike anything I've ever made before!!

I've been wanting to do one of those "every instance of a motif in (game)" videos, like the UTDR ones, but for Super Paper Mario. And last night I finally sat down and wrote down every motif I could find in the game while listening to the OST

This first video is only over the game's motif, which I dubbed the "Purity Motif", since it plays whenever you put a Pure Heart in a Heart Pillar, and overall just seems to permeate the entire game.

Idk where I'm gon upload this, but I guess sharing it with you guys is fair game. So. Uh. Yea that's part one! If I missed anything feel free to comment about it, I want people to talk about the OST more

Needed to show off what came in the mail today!! Got the uber uggo /aff Magolor plushy (and they sent a Magolor n Kirby tissue packet????)

Ok so I kind of had an epiphany today. I was tryna make Wave 3 trio refs and realized that I. Didn't really like how Taranza looked. So i sat down and figured out his design disregarding color. Removed his scarf, deciding to only draw 4 hands cause I can't figure out what to do with the other pairs, etc.

And then I realized. How. Much. his palette like. Bothers me. I don't think he has a bad palette, but the values aren't really the best. If you greyscale a lot of his official artwork, his face blends into his scarf and body. It was also pointed out to me that the pink just kinda felt like it came outta nowhere, and didn't entirely match the red of his scarf....so I kind of took that and ran with it and ended up with Pink Taranza. (also dw about Blue Joronia I have. Thoughts)

Ig if anyone wants to see my ramblings on this I can post them. Idk.

Decided since I've been doodling nothing but Kirby characters for 5 months now, I should probably just do Kirby Commissions. So, I'm doing Kirby Commissions!!
