So this started off as me going “what if I made Bdubs super stylized too” and it slowly turned into “can I get away with making Bdubs less than 2 blocks high” and now we have this little. thing. Plus the WIP of the HC mini height chart I am making just for self reference.

Was doing some Hermit redesigns, and I think I had a bit too much fun. I’ll explain more under a cut but I was just having a field day doodling.

So my thought process behind these is. Strange. Pearl, as much as I love Phantom Pearl, is now a shapeshifter. But not the kind that Grian or Keralis are. Instead, she changes forms based on what people say to her. So like, when Ren called her a demon in DL, she turned unto a demon. Her forms can range from a lot of things but it’s always obviously her
Stress. I don’t really know my thought process with her. I just wanted to lean more into the “monster” in StressMonster. I don’t know what she is but she turned out really cute. Also yes she has a flowery tail now
And Mumbo is the one I’ve wanted to redesign for a while. A bit ago me and @psihawaii got into a convo about robot Mumbo and my Mumbo ended up becoming less of a robot robot and more of a uh. FNAF-esc Animatronic. He scared a bunch of kids by having an existential crisis and was thrown out. Ended up in a garage sale where X found him and went “yea taking this creepy animatronic is a good idea”. Mumbo’s fingers actually are lightly coated in Redstone so if he were to pick up an unlit Redstone Torch, it would light. Also he tends to keep his eye lights off but nobody really minds the creepy black voids he has for eyes.
Stress looks straight up like a living plushie, but i can't tell what is going on with etho...

you’re right on the mark with Stress. She’s a living plushy, much like my NPG is, actually. She has a soul infused into her little antenna, which brought her to life.
as for Etho, well, the man was literally eaten alive twice (if Scar’s cannibalism comment + his alien pit are anything to go off of), so his head was kinda the only part in tact. His body had to be sewn up of a buncha patches of skin, kinda like Cleo. This idea was originally an AU me and @aestheticallynotdeerlightful had called Frankenetho, but I loved the idea So Much I kinda just ran with it in my headcanons.
