Indulge in the rich and nutty flavors of German Chocolate Fudge without the added sugar. This keto-friendly recipe uses Swerve Sweetener to sweeten the fudge while keeping it low-carb and delicious.
Ingredients: 2 cups Swerve Sweetener granular. 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut. 1 cup chopped pecans. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal. In a large mixing bowl, combine Swerve Sweetener, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans. Mix well and set aside. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, then stir in the cocoa powder, heavy cream, and salt. Cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture is smooth and well combined, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl. Stir until everything is evenly coated and the mixture starts to thicken. Transfer the fudge mixture to the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and press it down firmly. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is set and firm. Once the fudge has set, use the parchment paper overhangs to lift it out of the pan. Place it on a cutting board and cut it into squares. Serve and enjoy your delicious German Chocolate Fudge!
