Gerhard Haderer
Original:
Austrian cartoonist GerhardHaderer
It is suitable not only for some Parliaments ....
Gerhard Haderer, a famous Austrian #artist, began his career as an #illustrator in #advertising agencies. In 1985, tired of commercial projects, he decided to devote himself to #satirical #illustration. For more than 30 years, he has painted thousands of honest #caricatures. Some of them even nearly cost the artist freedom. In 2005, he was sentenced to 6 months in prison for insulting the feelings of believers in the cartoons 'Life of Jesus' book. This did not put an end to the work of Haderer. On the contrary, the 67-year-old Austrian continued to sincerely and fearlessly describe the modern world. He raises sharp social and political issues in the monthly comic MOFF., Which publishes Scherz & Schund Fabrik.
