Like this character could have been the hokiest one ever but Disney actually sort of redeemed him and that is awesome. They didn’t just make him a bully, they gave him a hobby that helped him break out of that and honestly his character sort of helps me cope with a few things so maybe that’s why I love him so much idk. All the people I ship romantically with this character: Pfffffft, everyone knows me by now, everyone knows who I ship with Gideon. Judy Hopps, Greyhopps, it has become my second OTP for her, I love it, it has potential I tell you! They could be so cute and I will go down with this ship. Which is super funny to me because I didn’t even consider it until I had a dream about them and I haven’t stopped thinking about them since. My non-romantic OTP for this character: GIMME MY FOX BROTP DISNEY. GIMME NICK AND GIDEON MEETING, WORKING OUT THEIR DIFFERENCES, REALIZING THEY’RE BOTH IMPORTANT IN JUDY’S LIFE THEN BECOMING BEST BROS. GIMME IT, I NEED IT, I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN DAMN IT. And throw Finnick in there so we can have the ultimate fox brot3, please and thank you. My unpopular opinion about this character: Like I already said, Gideon is a character who I feel like a lot of people can use to cope with like bullies in their past or maybe when thinking back on a time when they were really mean to someone. He’s a perfect example of people being able to change, being able to better themselves and realize and accept their faults. Though I really would have liked to learn the reason why he was bully, like was he bullied, did he have a bad home life, what? I wanna knoooooow. One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Once again, DISNEY GIMME MY FOX BROTP. I wanted him and Nick to meet, I wanted Nick to find out what he did to Judy when they were kids and for them to work it out. I want it so badly, man, just ugh gimme my brotps.
