Hi! Thanks! The white-out style contacts do effect vision. They felt like i was wearing glasses that have fogged over and i couldn't wipe clear. Bright lights made it harder to see--was easier in shade/darker rooms. But I was able to get around fine and helped i had friends/a handler helping me!

April got a different sort of posture whenever they ended up on Praemia, especially in the cities; whether it was one she knew extremely well or not, she had a very distinctive air of belonging that only came from long-term residence. Everyone had that to some extent, the look of familiarity whenever they went home, but April's carried something a little more regal.

She belonged here, in essentially every way, and she'd grown up knowing it.

How do you figure out your characters looks, personality, etc.Mostly by accident tbh, like when I was writing the very first thing with Carly I thought she was white and ginger which ??? is very wrong. Personality a lot of times has to do with what role they’re filling, if I know it, like I knew the Nathos governor that shows up a decent amount had to have the sort of personality that would get someone elected there to begin with. Murphy is the team leader so he’s got the traits that got him that job, April grew up at the edge of royalty so that affected her a lot, stuff like that.
