Do you think the prototype or your version of the prototype would love playing mortal kombat?
Somehow, I feel that mileena would be his favorite character, what with the lovely smile.
Do you think the Ludwig siblings could handle spicy Thai food? Or would Ollie just overestimate his spice tolerance?
Man, I feel those toys could use some good cooking, such as Chinese food.
hey man if they can throw a pickup truck into the prison graveyard, they can get an arcade machine too !!!
it's also kinda hard to tell what kind of gamer he'd be with fingers like those but i like to think he's more partial to puzzle/story-focused games than high-reaction type ones
... i'm not too familiar with mortal kombat (or fighting games in general) but i remember being enamored with mileena two years ago for a short while & getting really deep into her lore. and like... her entire family drama is somewhat similar to the ludwigs in a way that actually freaks me out đ

How much is calliope able to tell sindri of the Greek world?
So far, she hasn't really told him a lot about Greece, except that she's from Sparta, and a bit about the creation of humans in Greek mythology XDD I think Sindri's spent more time telling her stories about Midgard, specifically dwarf legends and his memories of Faye!
Speaking of, it's been a while since I shared a snippet of the fic, hasn't it? Below is a little piece of Sindri and Calliope sharing stories; for context, they're at Sindri's hideout in Svartalfheim, and Calliope's been visiting him at his forge just to chat and spend time together :D
âI thought of an old dwarf legend to tell you,â he offered. âWant to hear it?â
âYes!â Calliope piped. âWhat kind of story is it?â
He smiled slightly. âItâs about the first ruler of the dwarves âŚâ
Sindri went on to tell her about Durinn, the first dwarf ever created, and how he founded many great kingdoms and wielded the strongest of all hammers. Durinn made many manikins out of the earth, which were given life by the gods, becoming humans. Other dwarves evolved from the maggots that ate the first Giantâs flesh, and they all formed Durinnâs clan.
âMaggots!â Calliope repeated, failing to repress a shudder. âI wouldnât want to come from a maggot!â
âThen what would you come from?â Sindri asked, amused. âWould you rather be made from the earth?â
âThatâs what we say in my homeland,â Calliope said. âThe first humans were made from clay. At least with clay, you can sculpt it any way you want!â
That was true. And at one point, Sindri had been just as disgusted by the maggot legend as she was.
He told her a few other stories, having thought up a very short list of all the happy ones, or at least those that didnât end badly. Calliope hung on his every word, asking questions and poking for more details. Like, what did Durinn do in his leisure time? Did he make weapons like Sindri? Or did he build other things? And the famous alchemist Ivaldi, wasnât he ever worried about making a mess with his experiments? Did he ever take a break? If his sons were always helping him, maybe that was their idea of family time!
Her chattering drudged up memories of the past â Atreus, around Calliopeâs height, pestering Sindri with questions of dwarven history. Sindri saw him in his mindâs eye, perched on the edge of the worktable, idly swinging his feet.
I really wanna see Svartalfheim someday, Atreus chattered on. If its tower ever opens up, will you show me around? I wanna meet all the dwarves and learn their stories!
Sindri shook himself. That time was long past. Atreus finally got around to seeing Svartalfheim, though Sindri wasnât able to give him a tour. Even if he could, there wasnât much to show, or many dwarves to meet, given how theyâd all shunned him at the time.
Then again ⌠Maybe Calliope wouldnât mind seeing more of Svartalfheim. She certainly seemed interested in Niðavellir, far below the mountain they stood on. One day, perhaps, Sindri could show her around there.
Calliope eventually grew bored of engraving practice and helped Sindri around the forge instead. Once he finished his current project (a very sturdy shield), she offered to sing the Thrymskviða for him.
Calliopeâs music was an entirely different experience from listening to dwarf music. Hel, Sindri was tempted to put it on Fayeâs level, and he considered Fayeâs voice to be high art in itself. Calliopeâs voice was pure and clear, like water from a mountain spring, or the snow glistening on Midgardâs peaks. Her magic lay just beneath the surface, waiting to be used, but she didnât need it; the story of the Thrymskviða unfolded in his mind like painted murals moving on wooden panels. He saw King Thrym stealing MjĂślnir while Thor slept, followed by Thorâs rage, and the Aesirâs meeting to discuss solutions ⌠And the song ended.
Sindri blinked, coming out of his daze. âThereâs more, isnât there?â
âYes, but I havenât practiced the next verses as much,â Calliope said, embarrassed. âI didnât want to mess them up here.â
âEven if you did, Iâm sure youâd still sound great. You, uh, you really have a voice.â
Thinking about tarantulas in earthspark, I feel black arachnia shouldâve been playing the role. A bot who trusts neither autobot nor decepticon fits well. Especially works since tfa black arachniaâs shown to know her way with science. Seriously, we couldâve had a mom/mentor figure for nightshade. I donât know if weâll even see tarantulas play mad scientist. At most, he just wanted to make a holomatter avatar and wipe memories of humans who get too close.
TFA Blackarachnia was not very well written and not as successful a scientist or techie as the OG Blackarachnia. The OG could keep up with Tarantulas, outsmarting him in certain places. TFA Blackarachnia constantly had to be saved. OG Blackarachnia *let* Silverbolt save her from falling into the ravine.
She, like Rattrap, is not done proper justice outside of Beast Wars. Here's a reminder that, though the graphics and rendering are very dated, Beast Wars animation holds up pretty well and it literally has some of the best writing in the entire franchise.
Anyway! You could leave the writing of the episode almost exactly the same and it would still fit Blackarachnia.

I donât know if youâll see this, but I think Courtneyâs and fingerâs history runs deeper than we know, and will be explored in season 3. Seriously, I think Courtney ran a rebellion or did something that pissed fingers off in a personal way.
Oh I DEFINITELY think there's a lot more to it than Courtney's divulging. Courtney was terrified when Fingers came out of the elevator- and she knew who and what Fingers was. She makes a break for it and tries to get help- when does Courtney ever willingly ask for help? Ever??- and even hides in the rafters to avoid them, to the point she almost watched her friends get murdered.
There's also Fingers' power to give life. It's a great power, but it's clearly one they use entirely for fun. I mean, we all saw the butterfly, right? Fingers killed it just to bring it back to life. And they didn't seem inherently vindictive- they seem fascinated, as if in awe of what they can do. And Courtney straight-up says that she expects to be "punished" when Fingers appears for losing her cuffs. That feels like a terrifying, loaded cocktail.
If this was a one-off meeting, Courtney likely wouldn't even remember Fingers. We see how spotty her memory is constantly! She doesn't remember where she's from, what she did, etc etc. Fingers has clearly come to Earth before- and they likely did something shitty to Courtney during her confinement there. And if Fingers (and the angels) weren't tapped into fucking everything, being omniscient and all, I'm sure she'd be happy to spill that tea and get Fingers out of her house- but she can't, and she won't risk her friends OR herself.
Iâm interested in learning why the gargoyles wear clothes. Are they prisoner escapees? Are the clothes totally for warmth?
They are for protection from weather and also provide some camouflage. Gargoyles spend pretty much all of their time sitting outside. They only go indoors for brief checkups every once in a while.
