Biosphere: Genkai-1 (official video by Egbert Mittelstädt)
Chill out, man! It's summertime in Norway and elsewhere, so you're probably in need of some cool tunes. Enter Biosphere, the one-man electronic project of Geir Jenssen. Jenssen comes from Tromsø, which lies way up past the Arctic Circle. Known for the namesake "arctic sound", Jenssen credits his archaeological knowledge from the Ice and Stone Ages as influencing his overall ambient and relaxed style, as in this video for Genkai-1. His album Substrata is highly regarded among fans as one of his best.
