I caught the “Channing Hansen: Self Portraits” exhibit in New York last week and it’s fantastic – totally worth the visit if you’re close to the city. It’s at CRG Gallery and closes on February 25th. Channing's knits are based on a model of his own DNA. Using his own genetic sequence, he created an algorithm that determines shifts in color, direction, fiber content and knit quality.
