Fear,

You are so real in my life. You make these tears that run down my cheek as heavy as the deep ocean. You make this pain as crushing as the boulders of the mountain that is upon me. I see you. I feel you. You’re as real to me as the air I breathe. And you’re as ever present as the sun ;always there when I wake up. And you’re as ever present as the moon; always there when I lie in my sleep. And these covers don’t cover up the grief you put me in. I lay awake at night, surrounded by your haunting presence. It’s the fear of my past, the fears of the present, and the fear future, that fill my soul. Like a small boy who’s afraid of the dark, I am towards what’s to come. And like the darkness of the night, it’s inevitable that this moment will come. The moment where I feel the weight of my tears, the weakness of my soul crushed beneath my anguish, the moment where I face my giant, see my mountain, uncover my covers and face my fear. I fear the moment where I face fear. I fear.

But I press on. I keep going. My Savior saves me. My Restorer restores my crushed soul. My Redeemer redeems my broken heart. My Healer heals my wounds. Fear, I have freedom. Freedom from your chains. Freedom from your anxiety. Freedom from your bondage. And I will fight back. But not by my own two fists. I have a God who fights for me. I have a Father who goes before me. I have a Protector who protects me from you. I have a King whom I conquer through. And I will conquer you. There’s a light that never goes out. And this light shines in the darkness. This light overcomes the darkness. And my God overcomes my fear.

I run this race. I do not fear you. I write this letter not to encourage you, but to tell you that I’m coming for you. I’m chasing you down. I’m coming to slaughter you, to bring you to your knees. And you’ll be the one hiding under your covers. You’ll be the one who fears me. I will walk through the darkness of the valley of the shadows of my heart and reject you. I won’t put these heavy chains back on. I’ll pick up my Cross and run towards my Father. I will finish this fight that you have started in my soul. I will overcome because He has already overcome. Every hour, every day, I will guard this heart from you. I will hide it in Christ, my King, and you shall never go back into it. Take your best shot. Give me all that you got. But know this; the battle is already over. I have won. Because I’ve been saved by God’s son.

Deuteronomy 31:8“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

anyways…. The Lord has been giving me so much opportunities to be obediant and do out of the ordinary things for him, My spirit is willing but my flesh isn’t!, i get so afraid that my thoughts have a battle and i miss the opportunity, ohh the guilt i feel when i miss a perfect opportunity to shine my Father’s light and it’s such easy things too! i think to myself why would i be afraid? He says that i would be out of this world and different, not to worry for He is in me and greater is he who He is in! So when i seen “a letter to fear” it was perfect!. So Fear watch out! “ I will overcome because He has already overcome. Every hour, every day, I will guard this heart from you. I will hide it in Christ, my King, and you shall never go back into it. Take your best shot. Give me all that you got. But know this; the battle is already over. I have won. Because I’ve been saved by God’s son.”

  Arghh so pumped can’t wait till God gives me another opportunity to be obedient, shine his light! and show Fear that it doesn’t belong anymore
