Class 1a with a cupid quirk reader
Hi and thank you for the ask! Hopefully this is alright :). You didnât specify if you meant during the 1A boysâ UA days or later on as pro heroes. I feel more comfortable writing outside of the space of UA, so I just went with them as adults. I also took creative liberty with the cupid quirk, since that wasnât too specific either. Hope you donât mind!

So then! First, hereâs a little info on the Cupid quirk:
It is derived from readerâs fatherâs quirk: Eros. The quirk called Eros is similar to Midnightâs. Rather than a gas though, It allowed the quirk bearer to emit a field of the neurotransmitter oxytocin (also called the love hormone~) within a radius of his choosing. At the most, a 3 mile radius. The concentration of the oxytocin was also up to the quirk bearer.
Readerâs mother has the ability to emit projectiles from her skin of all types. This included spikes of all sizes, pellets, balls, discs, you name it.
Reader has a much higher than usual amount of oxytocin in their body due to their fatherâs genes.
Reader has the ability to secrete oxytocin in a more physical form (either a dust, powder, or grease) as compared to their father.
From their mother, reader inherited the ability to form and project little needles from their skin. Reader usually coats these needles with their oxytocin. Though, if the needles arenât enough, they can coat a weapon of their choosing in it.
Once trained enough, reader has the ability to shoot these needles from anywhere on their body they choose.
Said needles could be as mild as making someone relax a little, or could be as severe as making someone pass out on the spot (which is more draining to make happen all at once).
Lots of people have the misconception that reader has the power to make people fall in love.

You were an up and coming pro hero
Mainstream media was raving about your efforts to climb the ranks
Dynamight though, wasnât exactly feeling all the hype
No matter what happened, he would remain at the top in his own eyes
He scoffs when he first hears the name of your quirk. The hell was making someone fall in love supposed to do? Seemed useless to him.
Upon finally meeting you, he wasnât impressed. He never took you too seriously when it came down to training.
That is, until he witnessed what you could do himself. Needless to say, he started asking you to train all the time. You were good for testing his agility.
The first few times he smirked at you after the sparring session, thinking he had won because he didnât get hit
You didnât have the heart to tell him he had three needles sticking out of one of his arms
He noticed them later though, and seethed to himself, vowing he would make sure he didnât get hit next time
You saved his ass once on the job
He asked you out a few nights later
Was interested once heâd heard about your abilities
Figured youâd be a great addition to the hero society for either deescalation purposes or for your incapacitating abilities
He could never be affected by your quirk when in hero attire due to the metal it was made of, but that didnât mean he underestimated you in any way.
If he found people in hero offices were talking badly of you (around you or not) he was sure to give them a piece of his mind and tell them to get back to work. Yâknow him. Straight laced as always.
He told them off under the pretense of âmessing up the work flow and productivity,â but he was honestly just offended that they talked about you like that.
Could those rude people not see how much potential you had? You were rising in the ranks for a reason, were you not?
You found he had started running into you more often during cross company meetings
Would take you to lunch sometimes (his treat of course)
Before long, youâd realize what was going on and call him out on it. He would bashfully own up and confess once you did.
You guys were a happy couple after that <3
Had heard about you (the new recruit) through some other agencies
Immediately assumed it your quirk meant cupid in the âmakes people fall in loveâ sense
Others were wary of you when you first arrived at the agency. Thought you would try climbing the ranks by making executives and whoever else fall for you.
Kiri highly doubted youâd do such a thing.
Everyone else wasnât too keen on you, but he thought that the ability was actually really cool?
Wanted to bombard you with questions as soon as he met you
Unfortunately he didnât get that chance
The first time he met you was during a meeting at the agency
When you explained your quirk to everyone in the room, everyone seemed to be relieved it wasnât what they thought
Kiri though? This man was the most excited one in the room. You could see the stars in his eyes if you looked hard enough.
Your power was even cooler than he originally thought!
He asked you to lunch after, wanting to get to know you better
He was around you a lot after that, and you guys had fun hanging out
He had managed to ask you out on an actual date minutes before a disaster happened somewehre that required both of your help
âGuess we have a date with destruction first, huh?â He chuckled
He rushed to get into his hero costume after, and you did too
You two worked at different companies
He witnessed you first out in the field
Both your companies had called you out to deal with a rather large issue a few cities over
To say he thought you were amazing was an understatement. He was quite taken with your ability.
After all was said and done with that mission, the high school kid in him was just itching to find that journal of his and write all his thoughts on how your abilities might work.
He ended up doing just that as soon as he was off duty.
You guys met here and there because of work and got friendly with one another
He always watched your press events because your coworker Kirishima hyped you up!
It wasnât until the end of a year after meeting you, that he asked you out at the Hero Gala
You were really stressed out because of work
You had taken a few days off to try to clear your head
You were in the store shopping for some things you needed
You were ready to check out only to realize you suddenly didnât have your bag????
That stressed you out even more, and you went all over the store looking for it
You were really in your head right now
What else could possibly go wrong?
A tap on your shoulder startled you, a dart coming of your skin in the direction of whoever happened to tap you
You gasped when you realized a fucking dart came out in the goddamn grocery store OH MY GOD-
You were quick to turn around and find a confused and very woozy looking Sero who passed out immediately after handing over your bag
It was only in the hospital that you realized he too was a pro hero
You guys somehow became really good friends after that
He would tease you about the incident on your first few dates
It was the strangest thing to ever happen to him, but he was so glad it happened so he could meet you
He was more indifferent to you than anything at first
Heâs always been more of the slow to warm up type
Heâd be lying if he said your quirk didnât interest him though
He was paired up with you and some other heroes for a reconnaissance mission
You were in charge of incapacitating anyone that would have caught you guys (that wasnât a normal civilian, anyway)
You did end up having to do just that at some point
He thought it was cool and all, but to be real he was paying more attention to how you were carrying yourself and handling the mission more than anything
Everything you did was so smooth and effortless
