After Kendrick Lamar's unforgettable halftime show performance, WE knew we just HAD to do this! While I'm not going after anyone who likes the Rag Dolly 80's play or characters from there, Andy told me some horror stories that make me burn inside like him. We can't be the only Raggedy Ann fangroup brave enough to address these things, are we?

The obvious problems with certain stories or adaptations. That's not what Johnny or Marcella would've wanted, but I've seen something that makes me question if even MY LIFE will be told wrong and cruel when I'm gone and can't defend myself! It already happened with a dad and his daughter.

Hi (this is from more than a month ago)

So, basically, the whole idea of this AU is that it’s technically in a way a Swap au, inspired by @ruffrags Chewtoy au (even though they’re probably still developing it 😅). HOWEVER, it takes place AFTER the events of Rag Dolly, and Raggedy Ann & Andy; A Musical Adventure (which has happened after Rag Dolly in this au, btw!). Marcella gets new pet dogs some time after her birthday as a late gift, but later, her dogs end up tearing Ann and Andy to shreds and eating their candy hearts.

Ann and Andy are revived by the General, who seeks to take Marcella, not caring if she’s not dying anymore. Basically, to describe Ann and Andy in this au…they’re evil lol, and abused, AND the General turned them goth as a treat. One last thing about them, but I won’t get into that now.
