Puppies are often mentioned to be unconditionally loving. I believe is typically only with significant abuse or conditioning that we alter their behavior, by instilling fear or training for attack. * What's less talked about is their gift for equanimity. A puppy will not only love you unconditionally, it will love anyone unconditionally. * As children, we were once the same. We didn't see color. We didn't recognize social status or economic status. It was more like....do you want to play hide and seek with me? Okay! Let's go! * What abuse or conditioning walled up the love inside of our hearts and made us so suspicious of people we don't even know? * Are we really better off with our guard up? Or is it doing more harm than good, by keeping more love and connection out of our lives, and out of our species as a whole, than we would otherwise have if our guard was down? * 💚Heart this post if this resonates with you, because it helps spread the inquiry in the world. If we want things to be different, then we need to think differently. * * * * Photo by Jamie Street on @Unsplash * #dog #spiritanimal #genekey37 #writersoninstagram #readstagram #spilledthoughts #raiseyourvibration #instagood #heartvibes #unity #equality #equanimity #thinkdifferently #bethechange https://www.instagram.com/p/CebbJdklZKo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
